Seville, Spain
July

Exhausted, I raised my head from the window and saw the most beautiful house ever. A huge gate opened and we entered a large plot of land. Maximiliano parked in the driveway in front of a beautiful Spanish villa. It was apparently the house where William grew up.

"Welcome to our home, Shannon," he helped me get out of his car. We entered the luxury villa in silence, where we were immediately greeted by an elderly woman.

"Maximiliano, where is your brother?" she spoke to him in Spanish.

"Auntie, don't worry he will come." the woman nodded and then measured me all over.

"And who is this woman, Maximilian?" I smiled hesitantly.

"She's Moisés's girlfriend." Maximiliano looked at me and was already pulling me away somewhere. We passed through a large corridor to an even larger dining room. This house was a complete palace. Eight pairs of eyes turned in our direction, I was uncomfortably shaken - two women and two men.William's brother offered me a chair, which I very hesitantly sat down on.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Maximilian." I turned my head to the woman with blond hair who was sitting on the right side of Maximilian. On his left side sat the man who was with us on the plane. Next to him sat another man and opposite him another. And opposite me sat a black-haired woman.

"This was the only solution, Chris, and you know it," Maximiliano said in Spanish.

"What are your next steps?" spoke the man sitting next to me.

"First of all, I am concerned about her safety. Nothing can happen to her here, but we won't deal with that now. I'm as hungry as a wolf." I felt a look on me, and that's why I looked at the man who was sitting opposite Ander - who had already introduced himself to me a while ago. He was measuring me uncomfortably the whole time and it made me feel really strange. It wasn't him. just a friendly look.

"I wish you a good taste," Maximiliano said and everyone started eating the roast chicken. I didn't even realize how hungry I was. My stomach grumbled as soon as I took the first bite. It tasted delicious and I couldn't stop. eat.

But somewhere inside I still felt strange.

"Shannon, have you finished your meal yet?" I looked at Maximilian.

"Yes, thank you, it was wonderful," I complimented and Max smiled.

"Alright, in that case Damario will show you your temporary room. I have to take care of a few things now. Feel at home." he stood up and left the room with the woman.

"Come on," the curly haired man stood up. I did the same and followed him to the second floor. At the end of the hall he was opening the door to a beautiful guest room. I walked in and when I thought he was going to leave me alone, he behind me, "To be honest, I'm not exactly thrilled that Max dragged you here, but it was the only necessary solution." I frowned.

"What are you talking about?" I raised my eyebrows incomprehension.

"That you're innocent enough for this world that William has inadvertently dragged you into," I narrowed my eyes.

"For this world? Can you stop talking in riddles?" I was getting pretty irritated. Not only was I sleep deprived, but it wasn't helped much by the flight, which always managed to tire me out for a few hours. I didn't like the way this man was talking to me.

"Anyway, you're safe here," I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Yes?" And before whom?" he smiled mischievously.

"You have guts, you have to let it go. I sense a clear fearlessness in you." but I didn't understand him. It felt like we were speaking different languages.
