"Long time no see, Shannon," came her warning voice from behind me. I slowly turned around and saw her standing a few meters away from me with an unreadable expression. She was looking at me with a strange look that I couldn't identify, "I love you I can see again."

"I'm sorry, I can't say the same," I faked a smile and she grinned dangerously. We stared at each other like war goddesses refusing to surrender. Sharp daggers shot out of our eyes, but we both kept contact. We didn't mean one give in to the other and look away.

"I have to admit that I underestimated you quite a bit," she spoke after a long pause, "you are very smart, I admit that. This quality will come in handy in the future and I will teach you how to use it in practice, but remember one important thing "Shannon," she tilted her head to the side and walked towards me with a confident step, "you'll never fool me. You will never be able to deceive me. You'll never beat me because I'm always two steps ahead." she stopped right next to me.

"And you," I bridged the gap between us, "again, don't forget that you'll never scare me." I spoke in a cold voice. In one second I was murdering her with a look and in the next I put on an indifferent attitude. She exuded a natural authority, but it didn't have that much of an effect on me. Until now I was just a gray mouse who always looked down because I was too cowardly to stand up for myself.

But she didn't know that it was over for good.

"You have no idea who you're messing with, Shannon dear. You think you're a strong girl, but I can knock that out of your head pretty quickly." I tilted my head to the side and sized her up.

"Go ahead, Isabela," I urged her and she smiled devilishly. She broke our eye contact and sat down in the chair, where she crossed her leg over her leg. She looked at her black nails dispassionately and then turned her blue gaze on me.

"Your sister never died," all the color drained from my face. My heart skipped a beat and I had to gasp to get her words into my brain, "I'm always ahead Shannon, I always have a plan. " I watched her face mocking me because she knew what she had accomplished.

"You're lying," I whispered and she shook her head with a smile.

"I'm going to teach you one rule, very important," she brushed off an invisible speck on the shoulder of her black leather jacket, "you must always have an ace up your sleeve that you can use against your enemy," she placed a USB key next to her, "just in case you didn't believe me," she smiled and showed off her white teeth, "I have a job for you. When you complete them all without any problems, I'm more than willing to give you answers, but until then, listen and do everything I tell you," she stood up, , "After all, you'll kneel down too." and she left me alone to drown in my thoughts.

I had to lean against the wall to keep my balance. I automatically grabbed my stomach, as if I was looking for support in the small bean.

This couldn't be true.

Your sister never died.

I realized that if you want to win in this world, you clearly cannot play fair. People with good hearts cannot win.

And maybe I never had a good heart.

Isabela was a player.

For life and death.

The innocent face and female gender only showed me that he is the devil in the shoes incarnate.

I took a deep breath, gripped the sledge and gritted my teeth: "You'll never win, Isabela," I swore to myself.
