Were Mondays always so difficult and demanding or were all days the same and blended into one? It felt like the day was dragging on, and it was only seven in the morning. I didn't sleep much tonight, considering that William visited me the day before and we kind of brushed until late.

"Can I come in?" he knocked on the door.

"Come on," I told him and leaned my head back. I was supposed to be at Dr. Lauren's office in an hour and a half, but somehow I didn't want to get out of the tub. I rubbed my face with water exhausted and took a deep breath.

I wasn't tired because of his brutal actions in bed. Rather, I was tired of the feeling of having to complain to a stranger, and I really didn't like that.

"I'd like to join," he grinned, "but I have work to do." I ran my hands over my body.

"Do you have any new information yet?" I asked, even though I didn't care a bit. The idiot is crying for the actions he has committed.

"Nothing much," he shrugged, "there's also a lot going on in the company. That tells me, don't you want to go back to work?" he turned to me and I looked at him curiously. I had to bite my lower lip at his slightly hairy chest. His big biceps rippled with every movement and I wanted to bite into them.

"I'll think about it," I raised my leg.

"I'll raise your salary." he walked over to me and sat on the bathtub. He ran his hand over my wet breast and pinched my nipple.

"I'll think about it." I grinned and leaned towards him for a kiss, which he returned with more passion.

"I would spank your delicious ass, but I have to go," he pulled away and I whined in disappointment, "don't you want to take it?" I shook my head.

"Go now," I laughed.

"Then I'll write to you about it." he kissed me goodbye and I just heard the front door slam.

After her departure, the apartment yawned with emptiness and my life was kind of lonely. Sometimes I felt like I lost my spark. There was no doubt that I missed my best friend very much.

If only she knew that having one night stands with her boss had become kind of a routine now, I was almost sure her expression was excited or basically pissed after we both found out about him. Surprisingly, I guess I didn't care?

I didn't know what happened to him, but he came to see me more often.

I drained the water and washed myself. I did my hygiene and dried my wet hair, which I twisted into big waves. I combed out my eyelashes, applied soft makeup and applied pink gloss. I put on a white midi dress, put on pumps with a thick heel, sprayed myself with sweet perfume and took my Lujka - Louis Vuitton handbag on the way. I locked the apartment and left the building. On the way to the car, I put on my white Prada glasses and was shocked when Brandon - his henchman - was waiting for me right next to Lacey's car.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I have to see you off." I rolled my eyes and got into the car.

I arrived at her doctor's office exactly five minutes before nine thirty. I sat in the chair and waited. There was a sign hanging by the door on the left with her name on it: Lauren Maxwell.

I put the glasses on my head and looked at the pictures hanging on the beige wall. Opposite me hung a medium-sized canvas of dark pink and purple-blue colors. The reflections of the setting sun could be seen in a small pond, in which various kinds of animals were swimming. A round tree drawn in the right corner covered with orange leaves.

Suddenly the door opened and a young black haired girl came out. Behind her stood a tall woman, apparently Dr. Lauren. The woman in question smiled at me and motioned for me to come in. I stood up and walked inside, where I sat on the couch by the window.

"Would you like some tea, water or coffee?" she asked politely and I shook my head. I still didn't feel comfortable in my skin and I would like to get it over with.

Actually, it wasn't even my idea to come here, but I promised Lacey. I booked this session for her peace of mind, because I would never come here voluntarily. I didn't have the best experience, but Lauren seemed professional and was nice enough.
