The night was perhaps one of the most beautiful nights of Beth's life. Suddenly it all felt very real, suddenly it really felt like the pregnancy was in sight. She had fallen asleep, as a little spoon, with Viv's arm wrapped around her, Viv's hand resting on her bare belly. If this is already Viv's attitude when she isn't even pregnant yet, then Beth couldn't even imagine how loving Viv is going to be when she is actually pregnant.

She had woken up, Viv still asleep against her, in Viv's grip she had turned over, which caused Viv to wake up, with the biggest smile ever on her face. 'Morning Vivi, what got you smiling like that?'. Viv closed her eyes and pressed her lips against Beth's soft, warm lips, after which she opened her eyes again and looked at Beth. 'Morning lieverd, I am just imagining how this moment will hopefully be in a few months'.

Oh no, there was Viv again with her baby talk, which made Beth give butterflies in her stomach again. 'Oh god Vivi, tell me'. Immediately that big smile appeared on Viv's face again. 'Okay. First of all, imagine. In a while when you turn around in my grip, there will be a baby belly between us, from that moment on we will never cuddle together, but always with the three of us. Secondly, the moment I give you a kiss I can't forget the little one. I have to go under the covers, and no, not like that, to give our little baby his or her good-morning kiss. Finally, when we cuddle together in bed like always, my hands will really pay a bit more attention to cuddling your belly liefie. Look, just like this. Just imagine...'.

Viv placed her hand on Beth's bare belly again and rubbed it gently with her hand. Beth felt everything in her body contract, pure adrenaline and love coursing through her body. 'Aww Vivi... Stop.... You make me feel so loved. You're going to make me cry a thousand times. I'm almost crying now, so with those pregnancy hormones soon, I'll definitely cry'.

Beth placed her hand on Viv's cheek, to give her another kiss. 'Shall we get out of bed? We have something important planned today'. Viv nodded and they both got out of bed to get dressed. Viv couldn't help but stare at Beth as she got dressed. How different she might look in a few months, with a huge baby belly. The thought automatically put a new smile on her face.

Since they had been cuddling in bed for quite a while, it was already ten o'clock. Viv quickly made breakfast in between, but then they quickly left for the supermarket. The big moment would come this afternoon. They had invited their parents and Caitlin and Katie to come to lunch to tell them their plan and to ask if they supported the choice.

It was definitely not what they had envisioned all this time, that they would first have to ask their parents for support to get pregnant, instead of telling them the news at a very random moment, super unexpectedly, but it was the only way. On the other hand, it was also a very nice thing, to be able to share this with each other as family and friends. Hopefully there will finally be a moment that can be truly celebrated again, without immediately pulling them back into the negative spiral of the trauma.

Whether it was the fact that Viv had indeed come out of the treatment with Lotte so well, or the fact that she had a good talk with Beth about the possible pregnancy, nothing seemed to be able to ruin Viv's day. She had gotten up with the biggest smile and that smile seemed to be stuck on her face. And if there's one thing Viv isn't, it's energetic and cheerful in the mornings.

'You're really excited Vivi, aren't you?'. Viv nodded, there she was again, with all those imaginations. It was clear that she was enjoying herself in her passenger seat. While Beth tried to focus on the traffic, this became increasingly difficult because of all those words that Viv was saying. 'Yeah, just imagine. From the moment you are pregnant, you will turn into the passenger princess, liefie. I will take you everywhere. And look further. That hopefully in a year or so we will have a maxi-cosi in the back, with a little one in it'.
