A/N: Since I unexpectedly had some free time to write, here is chapter 1 of part 2 a bit earlier than planned. I hope you like it again!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Welcome to the evening news of Friday 5th December. We start today with sad news from London because there has been an unexpected turn of events. Around 5pm this afternoon, 3 men escaped from Belmarsh Prison. It concerns three brothers who had life sentences for kidnapping, holding and starving two women and repeatedly raping one of these women, which took place about 5 months ago. What makes this turn of events unexpected is that the escape was possible because a cousin of these three brothers was a guard in the cell complex that evening. He freed them from the cell and the four of them walked out through the main exit.'
'It would concern these four men. A Peter Slimanski, Logan Slimanski, Jack Slimanski & Nathan Polenska. How it is possible that a relative of a prisoner can be on duty in the prisoner's cell complex isn't yet known. The prison spokesperson doesn't want to comment. He did indicate that he will investigate this error and gives his support to the victims of these men.'
'We did receive a response from the police spokesperson appointed for this case: 'This afternoon we as police were shocked by the news that there had been an escape from Belmarsh prison in London. CCTV footage in the prison has indeed shown that three men were freed by one of the guards. We don't know much about this guard so far. We only know that his real name is different from what was known at the prison, so that he entered service under a false name. How this error could have happened and who was responsible for it isn't known yet. We hope to provide new information about this case as soon as possible. If you come across these men, don't approach them yourself and call 911 as soon as possible.'
This was the confirmation. At first they had hoped that maybe it was just a joke, that someone had somehow found out that these kinds of notes were being sent to Beth when she was stuck in the cabin, and that they wanted to scare them. But no, this wasn't a joke, this was the harsh reality. Once again they would live in that rollercoaster of fear and ignorance.
They had sat down on the couch, had turned on the television and watched it, the news, which immediately went on about this case, in which they were involved. Viv was furious, had Beth sitting in her lap completely shaking, and now watched with tears in her eyes as this female presenter even spoke the news with a tiny smile. She knew it was just out of politeness, that she had to show herself like this on television, but it only made Viv angrier and angrier.
How? HOW? How could this happen? How could they, as a prison, not know about this? How can someone work under a false identity in prison? 'Goddammit, who the fuck can schedule a relative of prisoners to guard them? What kind of amateurish prison is that! And then this woman who can't even show some sympathy by wiping that smile off her face. Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?'
