We sat down on our heels in the living room again but with no pillows this time. We also had tea.
"Now, they will ask you a lot of questions they want answered... I don't know if they care what your answers are and they're gonna like the fact that you have a business degree and that you're a beyblader... I think..."
"What do you mean 'I think?'" He asked.
"Like I said I don't know if they are looking for answers that they want to hear or answers that are true and I don't know if they want more" I said.
"Ok, we'll see I guess" He said.
"Now this isn't gonna be that long because I'm just telling you to be prepared for anything that comes out of their mouth because my grandparents get straight to the point and sometimes their questions are random"
"Ok"
"Now kimono!"
"That's it?"
"Yes because when I tell you their questions/ the things they say are random... one time when I was visiting my grandma ask if I lost my virginity and went on a whole rant about how I should wait till marriage but she wouldn't be mad if I didn't wait till marriage... they are odd sometimes" I said.
"Oh wow and what do I say if they ask if I took your virginity?"
"I don't know man, yes? That's an odd question for them to ask while guest are over, I honestly hope they don't ask that question" I said.
"I don't know, you never know"
"But kimono!" I said.
"Ok"
I took his hand and we went up the stairs and into our room. I went to the closet and got his kimono and placed it on the bed. I stood there wondering why he wasn't opening it.
"Lui... you have to dress me I don't know how to put it on"
"Oh right... ugh" I said unzipping the bag and taking the kimono out.
"Awww she got you a Hakama and a haori" I said. I didn't think she'd get him both of them. (Apparently a man has the option to wear a Hakama and haori while wearing a kimono)
"What is that?"
"You'll see" I said and I started staring at him.
"... uh sorry, I'm looking at you to see if your clothes are ok to wear under this um you need a tight shirt and pants... they are fine considering you don't have tighter pants or you can wear shorts"
"What shirt should I wear?"
"Mmm oh... your compression shirt would be good" I said.
"Ok" He said going to our dresser and digging out the shirt.
I set out each different item of clothing. From the Haneri to the Hakama.

After Gabe put on his shirt I started adding the clothes to him. First the Haneri.
"This is called 'Haneri' you wear it under everything and isn't optional in fact none of these are optional besides the Haori and the Hakama which is why I found it cute that she got you them"
"Why?"
"Cuz that means she what's to see you dressed up and she likes you"
"Oh that is cute" He said standing there while I put it on him and the belt to secure the Haneri.
"Next is the kimono"
He put it on and I secured it with the waist string then I put the obi belt.
"This belt is called the obi belt, oh and does everything fit well? Move your arms" I said as I finished tying the belt. And he moved around in what he had on.
"... yeah it's good"
"Ok, good" I said.
Then I continued with the Hakama.
"This is the Hakama, my grandma always said that a Hakama makes a man look ten times better maybe twenty times if they are ugly" I said.
"Do you think it makes me look ten times better?" He asked.
"You already looked good so it only makes you look five times better"
"Thanks"
"Then the Haori Himo" I said as I tied it around him.
"And now just put on the Haori and we're done!" I said.
He put it on and he looked so good!
"Aw you look so nice... now we have to do it all again tomorrow morning..."
"Are you not going to put on yours?" He asked.
"No because I know it fits and it's a surprise for you tomorrow"
"Why?"
"Stop asking questions! you will see tomorrow morning" I said.
"Now I want to see you in your kimono..." He said looking disappointed.
"You'll see it tomorrow morning, trust" I said cupping his face.
