She told her husband in Japanese after and they discussed.
"Takashi, wants to know if you knew about the money before you started dating Lui"
"I had no idea about the business and the money he'd get from you two before we started dating, if that's what you're talking about, he literally told me like two days ago"
"And you still love him for him?"
"Of course... Why wouldn't I? Money is nothing to me" Gabe said.
She told Takashi in Japanese and discussed once again. Lui wrapped his arms around Gabe's arm and rested his head on his shoulder.
"What about Lui do you love and what makes you want to stay with him forever?"
"Ugh where do I begin with Lui?" Gabe said while looking into Lui's eyes.
"He's just... beautiful. he's heaven to me... he's my everything. I love all of him. He's eyes god I love his eyes ugh I can get lost in them, his smile is so pretty, He, himself is pretty,- sorry am I talking too much?"
Miyoko looked a bit surprised and then smiled.
"No no not at all, if a man can vent about a person they say they love then they really are in love and I wouldn't stop them"
Gabe smiled and continued talking about Lui. It was more of a conversation with him and Miyoko because she'd agreed or add on to something he'd say. Takashi didn't know what exactly Gabe was saying but knew from the look in his eyes he was talking about Lui and how much he loves him.
"And Lui you feel this way about Gabe?
"Yes of course I do!"
"... Gabe? Are you willing to protect Lui at all cost?... he's a very important boy... and we've had some... incidents before while Lui was by himself..." Miyoko said while lui had his head down eyes closed, looking ashamed.
"I am willing to protect Lui at all costs but how much of a cost is it?"
"... might be someone's life, not Lui's of course, and you wouldn't go to jail we have connections and the money, we can get you out of it"

Gabe thought long and hard about it. He lifted lui's head. Lui's eyes looked away but Gabe forced him to look him in his eyes. Purple mixing with black.
"Still... I'm willing to protect lui at all costs" Gabe said wrapping his arm around Lui's shoulder.
"Good, now to wrap up, me and takashi want to talk to you in private, so let's go to the bridge"
"But Grandma, why not with me?" Lui asked.
"It's just a conversation... without you, is all, Ms. Brown and Mr. Smith will keep you company" Miyoko said.
"Ok..." Lui said while looking disappointed having his head down.
