11- why so restless?

Erica's eyes were filled with tears...she thought in just a few months of knowing Anay she felt so sad when he left her...and Kabir has suffered so much from such a child's age .

"Anay baba is so much pampered and very loved while Kabir baba manages everything on his own! He does everything for himself on his own whether it's looking after his health, his work , his problems he deals everything on his own. he cares for his own self. Sahab loves him but his aggressive nature and distant behaviour to smriti madam and Anay has impacted their relationship in some way as well!" Tai said

"Bahu, if you had married Anay baba, life would have been easier," Tai said softly, her tone filled with quiet understanding. "Anay baba has everything-emotional warmth, he is deeply loved stability, and a good fortune. But destiny... destiny tied you to Kabir baba."

She sighed, placing her hand gently over Erica's. "He may have money, fame, and power, but emotionally-he's bankrupt. You'll have to be patient with him, that's all I can say."

Her eyes drifted away, a faint sadness in them. "Kabir doesn't even know what love feels like. He's spent most of his life without it... and in that emptiness, he's only ever known his business. That's the only thing he's truly attached to."

She picked up her cup, then placed it back on the table before standing up. Her final words lingered heavy in the air.

"You know bahu , If loneliness had a heartbeat, it would sound like Kabir's. And if being alone in life had a face..." she sighed deeply, "...it would be his."

With that, Tai quietly left the room, leaving Erica seated there, lost in thought, her heart twisting with a strange mix of pity and pain.

It was 10 pm at night Kabir came early from his office. He got the deal everything was fine but he was not at peace...so he just came back. He was sitting on the sofa with legs wide open when Erica came from the washroom after a shower wearing a bathrob her hair was wet she came and directly stood infront of the mirror without knowing about his presence...

She was drying her hair with a towel when she saw Kabir in the mirror behind her he was gazing at her intently!

She immediately looked back with nervousness in the last one month Kabir never came this early so she didn't expected him at all . They both looked eachother for a berif moment till she said "you came early today!!"

"Kyu nahi aana chahiye tha??"

"No , I didn't mean it like that"

Kabir walked past her and went to the washroom , after a while when he came back he saw Erica was doing something in her phone, Kabir was expecting Erica to say something about the morning event........
