Anay slumped over the bar, his eyes glassy from the numerous drinks he had consumed. His friends, Rachit and Ananya and Rohan sat on either side of him, listening intently as he rambled on about Erica .

"What I didn't do for this girl..." Anay began, his voice laced with bitterness. "I chased her around like a puppy, sending her stupid cards and flowers, chocolates... roaming around restaurants like a small-town couple. I pretended to be a funny guy just to pull her up... then finally, she accepted my proposal and got into a relationship with me."

Anay took a gulp of his drink, his eyes flashing with anger. "And what did that bastard Kabir do? Nothing... absolutely nothing apart from gatecrashing my wedding. And she's wrapped around him like anything... I mean, how? When she was with me, she had always pushed me away, showed me tantrums whenever I tried to get close to her... so I thought maybe because she's a middle-class girl... but look at her now... she didn't have any problem getting touched by him."

Rohan, who had been quietly sipping his drink, raised an eyebrow. "Dude, you're really pouring your heart out tonight."

Rachit and Ananya exchanged a concerned glance, but Anay continued, his words spilling out in a torrent. "Whenever I saw her, I saw her crying, and then one day I found out she's pregnant with his child... I mean, are you kidding me? When did that happen?"

Rohan leaned in, his voice low. "Anay, maybe you should calm down, man."

Anay leaned in, his voice low and venomous "You know when I accidentally entered the kitchen the other night and found them making out?" He paused, his eyes flashing with anger.

As he took a swig of his drink, his friends watched with rapt attention. "You know what he did as soon as Erica turned around?" Anay's voice dripped with disdain. "He gave me a sly smile, as if showing me that I lose and he won!!!!" He spat out the words, his face twisted in disgust. "Bloody fucker..."

"You guys tell me what does he have that I don't?" He raised an eyebrow, his tone laced with arrogance. "I agree, he's a good-looking man, so am I. It's just that I don't work my ass off in that damn office because I already have it all. I can get whatever I want."

His chest puffed out, "Bloody orphan!!!!" He slammed his fist on the bar, making the glasses shake. "My blood boils just seeing their PDA!!!!" The anger in his voice was palpable, his friends exchanging uneasy glances.

"Hey....Don't call him that."Rachit said putting a hand on Anay's shoulder.

But Anay was unfazed. "What's wrong with that? He doesn't have a mother, and he and his dad are more like business associates ! Of course, he's a bloody orphan!"

Anay's expression turned calculating. "You know what I was a dickhead till now, focusing on getting Erica back to me... but now my soul aim would be to snatch her away from him. I don't care if I don't get her... Kabir should not be with her. I will turn this world upside down... I will break their relationship... if she can't be mine, she can't be his as well."

"Why not you just move on from her, dude? There are so many girls out there, you can get anyone!"Rachit said with frustration as he gazed at Anay.

Anay's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in anger. "I know I can get anyone," he spat, "but looking at her with him makes me feel like a loser." He took a step closer to Rachit, his voice low and venomous. "You tell me, if this fucker hadn't got married to her by my grace, do you think he could have impressed her anytime?" Anay's tone was laced with disdain. "No, he won't. Because you know what that takes? Style. And I have it, which he doesn't."

As he said this Ananya's expression turned gentle. "Don't get me wrong, Anay, as I'm your friend... but I think you've made Erica a prop of your pride... you just want to satisfy your ego... and about you not doing business, it's because you don't have the acumen or the world-class degree that Kabir has. And about him not getting any girl let me tell You something today? I ,myself had a huge crush on Kabir from as long as I remember... but I never thought of telling him this because I know I belong with you people, and he's so out of my league... a person should find someone equal... I'm sure this girl Erica has something special about her... it's not so easy to pull out Kabir! You should get over it, buddy, and also, you guys should stop giving him fucked-up suggestions."

Listening to this Anay's angre rose up even more he threw the glass on the floor and walked out from there after glaring all of them.

Erica's pov-
-------------------

As the warm sunray gently intruded upon my sleep, streaming through the huge glass window, I was gradually awakened by the soothing sounds of the sea. The rhythmic whispers of the waves caressing the shore filled the air, and as I opened my eyes, I was greeted by the breathtaking beauty of my surroundings. After a long flight, we had finally arrived in Hawaii, on a private island that felt like paradise.

I took a deep breath, feeling the salty air fill my lungs, and let out a contented sigh. "So beautiful," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of the waves. I threw off the covers and got out of bed, my feet sinking into the plush carpet as I made my way to the beautiful big balcony. That's where I found my husband, standing at the railing, gazing out at the stunning morning view.

My heart swelled with love and affection as I approached him, and I couldn't resist the urge to run up behind him and wrap my arms around his waist. He felt so warm and solid, and I felt a sense of peace wash over me as I hugged him tightly. He turned to me, a gentle smile on his face, and planted a soft kiss on my forehead. "Good morning," he whispered, his breath sending shivers down my spine.

For a moment, we stood there, lost in each other's gaze, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore breaking our spell. "Beautiful, isn't it?" I asked, glancing out at the mesmerizing view. He nodded, his eyes still locked on mine. "Clearly it is," he replied, his voice low and husky.

A blush crept onto my cheeks as I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear, feeling a rush of warmth at the intensity of his gaze.
