At night Kabir came back home...his walk wasn't as confident as it normally used to be!!!
He stood there near the kitchen...
Sunita Tai came up with water .
Kabir drank the water and while putting the glass back on the tray he slowly asked
"Where is Erica???"
"Bahu went with luggage in the evening itself baba!!!! She was crying also...I tried to asked her but she didn't reply and went" tai answered
Kabir processed her words while looking at the ground.
"Is there any problem baba???" Tai asked with concern.
He took a pause "No!!!! Everything is fine" Kabir said and went from there.
Kabir came in his room ...he looked around....no belongings of Erica was there ....he silently sat on side of his bed!!!!

Few hours before~

Door bell rings!!!!
Diva ...go open the door!!! Her mother said from kitchen.
"Di!!!!!!!" Diva said amusingly while hugging Erica
"Erica!!!! " Her mother came running...she embraced Erica.
"You are here so suddenly...is everything alright beta!!"
Erica hugged her and tears started streaming down her face.
"What happened Erica???? Tell me beta....I am getting anxious." Her mother urged.
"Ghar ki bahut yaad aa rahi thi" she said not leaving her mother's embrace.
" Ohh...Erica you scared me....ohkay come inside first!!!"
Erica met with her father....they also talked briefly.
Erica looked all lost and pale ...she wasn't even looking intrested in What they were all talking.
"Erica!!!" He mother shook her hand ..."are you even listening."
"Hmmm" Erica's trance broke....
"yess...mumma!!! Actually I am really tired I am going in my room." She abruptly left from there!!!
Her mother sensed something was definitely wrong here....

Kabir was in his office room....but his attention was no way on his work....his mind was racing to Erica. He made a call.
"Hello uncle!!!" Kabir said
"Hello Kabir beta...how are you??" Erica's father asked.
"I am good....aaa!!!! Erica reached there uncle???" He asked in a normal tone.
"Yes beta!!! She reached in the evening only!!!! He replied
"Okay uncle" kabir said taking a sigh of relief.
"You called for this....why didn't you called her yourself " her father asked casually
"Aa.... actually her phone was busy so that's why!!! I thought to check on her" he said trying to make it sound believable.
They both had a normal chat and they hung up the call.
