"Do you think it's funny!!!" She said in annoyance.
"No... it's not like that..."Kabir made an amusing face......"I was thinking if I can't stop you , my sperm surely can. He Said with a teasing chuckle.
"So shameless kabir." Erica shakes her head in annoyance
"Okay...now pack your bags we are going home' Kabir said stopping his laugh in a casual tone.
"I ...am... not... going... anywhere ..with.. you" she said streching every word with a solid stare.
"Look Erica it's our problem... don't drag the child in between ...and also on What ground you will get divorce from me
Do I have force you , do I have any other woman in my life , have i done any sort of physical violence with you???

"so practically there is no issue you have with me...plus you are bearing my child ...so by every means you have to get back to me." He said
"Are you offering a deal to me just like you did to marry me???" Erica said in order to offend him.
Kabir understood her taunt but keeping the composure he said " Look at your family Erica all of them are happy why are you unnecessarily troubling them....and do you think it's fine for the child to born in a broken marriage...it would not be nice right!!!"
A knock happened.... Both of them looked behind , Erica's father entered with her mother and diva...Kabir touched his feet....her father straight away went and hugged Erica. "I am so happy erica!!! Today you free me from such a burden...when I got you married sometimes I used to think...what if you are not happy...but today listening to this good news I am over the moon ...my daughter is truly happy ...I don't want anything now"
he said kissing her forehead.
After Erica's marriage this is the first time her father has hugged her or talked to her with love...Erica became emotional...
While Kabir was having a subtle smile on listening to his words...
Erica's eyes met with Kabir while hugging her father ...his eyes were shining with amusement with a teasing smirk...while Erica was staring at him.
Erica came back with Kabir to his mansion.....the news of Erica's pregnancy resonate with the whole house Sunita tai was the happiest to hear this news....while Anay was in shock...he couldn't wrap his head around this news ....smiriti became very tense for Anay. She didn't know how she would handle him now.

Erica came out of washroom...her face was looking tired.... seeing her state Kabir went near her...
"Do you need anything???" He asked softly
"I don't need anything from you kabir.... Do you understand????
And don't be in any misconception that I came back here so things are normal between you and me....we are still at the same place...and I am very much disgusted by you...it is just that I won't punish my baby for your selfishness....there is nothing between us.
So don't try to talk to me...or come any where near me , you will always keep a one arm distance from me and my baby....you get it!!!"
Obliging to her words Kabir put his hands up and took a step back while looking in her eyes.....his eyes were having a amusing expression like he was trying to calm down a angry kid.
" I have wasted my enough time with you...now I don't need you ...me and my baby are enough for eachother." Erica said and turning to her bed she laid on the bed and covered her face with comforter. Kabir just watched her antics standing in oblivion.

Weeks passed and Erica embraced her pregnancy with open heart.

A month passed, Erica was 3 months pregnant now....
Kabir was at his office when Erica's mother called .
"Hello kabir beta" she said
" Yes aunty" he said
"Beta...I want to take Erica home if you don't have any problem" she asked.
" But why??? Is there any issue??"
" No ... nothing like that beta... actually I wanted to do her godbharai ceremony....it is done to give blessings to the expecting mother and the unborn baby.....No one can do the preparations for this at your house so that's why I thought to take her here." She said
"Don't worry aunty.... everything will be prepared as you want to at my house....the ceremony will happen at my house...I will make sure of everything. Okay!!" He said , Kabir didn't want to take any risk to send Erica again..
"Fine beta!!! We will do the ceremony Tomorrow at your home."

It was Erica's godbharai ceremony, and it was the first time in years that the house was decorated for an event related to Kabir. All the arrangements were made as per the traditions.
Erica's family, Kabir's buaa, and a few other ladies were in attendance. Smriti was also there, but she seemed distant.
Kabir was seated on the sofa, unsure of what to do. When Buaa and Erica's mother brought out Erica, she was adorned in a stunning kanjivaram saree paired with jewelry belonging to Kabir's mother. She looked different, with pink and puffy cheeks, appearing absolutely beautiful. Kabir blinked in admiration at her, feeling a different kind of calmness in that moment.
Everyone blessed Erica and her upcoming child...
"Buaa placed her hand on Erica's head and said, 'May you have a beautiful baby boy, just like Kabir.' Erica forced a small smile in response.
'Kabir, what you want ?' Buaa asked, looking at him.
Kabir was startled and didn't know what to say because he hadn't even thought about the child until now. 'Aaaa...' He struggled to find the right words.
'Come here first,' she called him.
He went near her. She took his hand and placed it on her belly. 'Now, feel it and tell me what you think it's going to be,' she said with a smile.
Kabir looked at his hand on her belly and then at Erica. It was a different feeling. When Erica slowly removed his hand from her belly without making it odd. 'Rehne de...tujhe kuch nahi pata,' his buaa said and all the ladies laughed.
