Sunrays touched Erica's face and she slowly opened her eyes.....Kabir was standing infront of the mirror setting his hair ...he was all suited!!!!
"Get ready.... it's already late!!!" He said to her from the mirror!!!!
Erica just nodded.
They sat in the car , Kabir was driving while talking on the phone!!! Erica was looking at him time to time....she wanted to say something.....but didn't know what!!!! The drive went in contemplating and whe she finally decided to speak...they were already home....he opened her side of gate...Erica came out...
"I am getting late for office" he ran to the driving side and went ...
Leaving Erica in thoughts....she was expecting a hug atleast...but he didn't!!!!
it's actually very late for his office , she thought!!!!
Erica came inside, whole day she thought about whatever happened between them....she was somewhere happy and little bit nervous because of him.....
She wanted to talk to him...so she was waiting...it was already night kabir didn't come... sitting in his room she was looking at the mantion gate....hours passed and slowly she drift into slept on the couch near by the window!!!!
At midnight Kabir came....he saw her sleeping on the couch!!!!! He went to the washroom , took a shower...changed his clothes and then he came and picked her up Erica curled herself in his embrace but she didn't wake up ..he placed her on her side of bed and they slept.
Next day when Erica got up ...he already left!!!! Erica felt very bad ...the thought of him regretting whatever happened clouded her mind...she was adamant to talk to him
At night Kabir was working in his office room Erica went in....
"Kabir I want to talk" she said.
"Hmmm....say I am listening" he said without looking up from his files in a very casual tone .
"Kabir....are you....are you ignoring me???' she said while gulping her sob.
"No(He said shaking his head lightly) why would I" he looked up finally their eyes met!!!
Erica's eyes had all the emotions of this word..while he has the same staple Kabir eyes!!!
"After th..e...the night!!!" She said her breathing nervous her voice stammering.
"Wasn't it supposed to happen between us?" He said directly.
"Nothing is strange here Erica....so don't race your mind...and if you are done....can I get back to work ... it's really important " he said in casual cold voice.
Erica didn't know what to react...he is acknowledging their union but everything is so blank!!!!!
Erica was rooted in her place when he moved his attention to his work... So she took a leave from there !!!!
After that everything went usual.... it's been a week.... it's not like kabir ignored her ..but there was nothing special in his behaviour.....he was exactly like he was before.....the love Erica saw in his eyes that night was replaced with the same cold ones she had many painful memories with....
A week later-

Erica was sitting on the dinning table ....
"Bahu...why you came so late for breakfast....you didn't even meet Kabir baba before his departure." Tai said
"I will meet him in the evening tai... don't worry " Erica said slowly Knowing it doesn't matter to him anyways.
" Don't you know????Kabir baba went to los Angeles for 15-16 days for business work. How would he come at night " Tai said
The spoon fell from Erica's hand ..Kabir went for 15-16 days and he didn't even find it necessary to tell her. Tears came in her eyes ....she understood Kabir didn't find her important enough to tell about this..and here is she....whose heart just want to listen two sweet words from him ....
"Excuse me" she got up and went to her room.
"He didn't want to discuss anything with me na!!!! Fine I won't bother him....I am now to going to call him....aur ask him why he went without informing me ....may be I am too clingy.. that's why he is fed up with me " she said consoling herself
"I will give him space!!!" She said wiping her tears.
15 days passed like eternity.....not for once Erica called Kabir and no call came from his side as well....Erica was trying to be strong but she was breaking from inside...she became pale ....she stopped talking to any one .....tai , her family members or anybody...Anay tried to communicate with her in these days but she ignored him completely......she was doing her daily routine normally..... but everything was robotic....there was no soul....at night she use to sit on balcony gazing stars and darkness....she decided not to cry at all...if he doesn't care she will also not care about anything......but at night her tears used to escape from her control making ways to her cheeks!!!
15 days later-

Erica was sitting on the dinner table with everyone ....she was lost in the thoughts circling the spoon on the food plate , when the sound of shoes intrepped her trance and here was Kabir.....all unaffected completely in his glory....not a single trace of any sort was present on his face.......he came towards the dinning table his eyes fall on Erica briefly till he looked towards his dad.
"How was deal??his dad asked
"Everything was good" he said with a cocky smirk...
Erica got up and went from there.... At night none of them intiate any talk.
Next morning during breakfast Kabir was talking to his dad about business when Erica came .
"Erica...can you give me the juice beta" smriti asked...
The juice was on Kabir's side so Erica went beside him...she was pouring juice in the glass ..when suddenly her head felt dizzy ...and she fell with a "thud " sound..
"Erica!!!! " Smriti and rajeshwar shouted...
Kabir instantly picked her up... sprinkled some water on her face she opened her eyes briefly.
"Ask driver to take out the car" Kabir told a servant.
The doctor checked Erica ..."vitals are normal it could be may be weakness or pregnancy may be???" She said
Hearing this Erica looked at Kabir... They share a eyelock till he blinked his eyes in nervousness..... Erica was the first one to looked away .
"Ohhh... Don't be shy !!!" The doctor said witha smile.
"Nurse take her with you and get her test done" she said
Kabir gulped at this moment....
"The test is done....will inform you about the reports within few hours" doctor said.
They sat back in the car... Erica was looking outside the window, trying to wipe her tears when Kabir pulled her in a side embrace... holding her from shoulders......he put her head on his chest....Kabir held her hand the whole ride. Erica didn't speak a word!!!!
He dropped her home and went back to office.
