In a rugged abandunt building , Kabir sat motionless on a chair , a gun resting in his hand. The atmosphere was thick with tension, his expression as cold and unyielding as stone. His eyes, devoid of warmth, stared ahead, unblinking. Surrounding him were a few men standing in commanding postures, their presence amplifying the sense of authority he exuded. Just beyond him, Samaira sat bound, her wrists tied behind her back, slightly angled away from Kabir.

In stark contrast Anay stood before Kabir, seemingly unfazed. His hands were similarly bound, yet he wore an air of confidence, as if the gravity of the situation held no sway over him. The two men locked eyes, the silence stretching between them until Kabir broke it, rising to his feet.

"You did all this, didn't you?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.

Anay's lips curled into a sinister smile. "Do I have to talk to you while I'm tied up like this?"

"Open him," Kabir commanded, his tone leaving no room for argument.

As the ropes fell away from Anay's wrists, he flexed his fingers, stretching as if awakening from a long slumber. Kabir stepped closer, his gaze piercing. "You lied to Erica!"

Anay shrugged, a glint of amusement in his eyes. "Now that you know everything, there's no point in pretending."

"Kabir.....Kabir listen to me once !" Samaira interjected, her voice laced with urgency and pleading as she wriggled her bound hands.

"You stay out of it," Kabir snapped, his gun now aimed at her. "You're pregnant with my child right. I'll talk to you later."

Anay took a deep breath, a smirk playing on his lips. "Yes, I told her all those lies. You know why? Just to see you like this-a broken mess. "He moved his fingers pointing his entire state "I was done with your happy, in-love face."

Before he could finish, Kabir's fist connected with Anay's jaw, sending him crashing to the ground. But Anay merely wiped the blood from his lips and rose again, unfazed.

"Come on, Kabir. If you break my mouth, how will you know how I did it all?" he taunted, brushing off the attack as if it were nothing.

"Listen carefully......While you were on your honeymoon, I decided I would do everything to break your relationship. The contract papers were my first move. On the day you were supposed to sign, coincidentally I found Samaira in the office, crying her heart out. Poor girl-don't you know how much she loves you? I sold her this dream that once Erica was out, she could have you. And she agreed. Two months went by, filled with preparation, fake evidence, reports and everything else."

Kabir's expression darkened. "You also planned the accident, didn't you?"

Anay chuckled, a cruel sound that echoed in the room. "You're so naive, Kabir. The accident you survived wasn't an accident at all. I actually planned for a murder. I paid for it, but you, being the tough bastard you are, didn't die. So sad!"

"Anay, you bastard!" Samaira shouted, her voice trembling with disbelief. "You told me you would never hurt Kabir!"

"Ohhh.....Shut up, you fool. I'm not answerable to you," Anay dismissed her with a wave of his hand.

" And you , What happened to you, Kabir? So much has transpired in just two weeks, and all you care about is what I tell Erica?" Anay laughed, the sound grating against Kabir's nerves. "I made you sign a contract stating that in exchange for all my property and business shares, you would divorce Erica. She believed me when I told her you were trading her for me. And you know the best part I made you sign that contract by her only....otherwise who can make Kabir randhawa sign a document even without reading....." Anay was laughing like it was a joke of the century......" Forget about this....I showed her a small fabricated clip and she believed you killed your own child....I mean what relationship you are mourning about Kabir ...that girl does not even trust you with your own child...she thinks so low of you tsk..tsk..tsk...I pity you seriously"

Kabir stood silent, fists clenched, as Anay continued, "I thought when you woke up after your accident, you'd want to know how it happened. And knowing your calibre I was sure you would find out about your accident being a conspiracy But no, you were too busy groveling at your lady loves feet. I heard how you were pleading, begging her not to leave you, but she still made you sign the divorce papers and left you . Oh, Kabir, even if you kill me now , I won't feel bad , you know why because I've seen you weak, miserable , broken , I've already won. I made The invincible Kabir Randhawa a heartbroken Romeo , whose wife left him." He said while laughing like a Maniac

Each word from Anay pierced Kabir's heart, igniting a fury within him. He lunged at Anay again, but the man only smiled, blood oozing from his wounds.

"Kabir, remember how happy we were before she came into our lives? You were focused on your business, and I was the Casanova living my best life. She ruined everything. We're not enemies, Kabir. We never interfered with each other's lives. Trust me, all the fault lies with her. She turned you into this heartbroken man and me into a criminal for orchestrating all this. Let's just get rid of her; she's the main problem."

As Kabir's hand curled into a fist, ready to strike again, a loud, furious voice cut through the tension. "Anay!"

Rajeshwar, Erica, and Dhanraj burst in front of them , having overheard everything. The weight of the revelations hung heavy in the air, and Erica's body trembled as she processed the depths of Anay's betrayal. She couldn't believe he could stoop so low.

Rajeshwar stepped forward, fury etched on his face. He slapped Anay hard across the cheek, his voice a low growl. "You criminal! You tried to kill my son!....I will send you behind the bars you rascal" He continued to strike, each blow fueled by a father's rage.

In the chaos, Dhanraj turned and rushed to his daughter. "Kabir, please... leave her," he pleaded, desperation lacing his words. "She just... she just loves you so much. I tried to make her understand that you're married now, but she didn't listen. Anay played with her weakness. She's naive, Kabir, please!"

Erica approached Kabir, who stood like a statue, his gaze fixed on the floor, the gun heavy in his hand. Tears streamed down her face as she struggled to find the right words to say to him.

Before she could speak, Kabir pulled the gun in front and shot the trigger twice, the shots echoing like thunder in the room. The bullets straight struck on Anay's arms and shoulders, sending him stumbling back. "Anay!" Rajeshwar shouted in horror.

Erica gasped, shock gripping her heart as she watched Kabir prepare to fire again. She ran and stepped in front of him, her voice trembling. "Kabir, no! You can't murder someone. Put the gun down... please, kabir stop!"

Kabir's hand was steady, the gun still aimed, but his gaze flickered to her, a moment of hesitation breaking through the storm of emotions.

After a moment of silence "Tumhari baat kaise taal sakta hun..." he murmured , his resolve wavering. Slowly, he released his grip, and the gun clattered to the floor.

Erica moved to close the distance, but he raised a hand to stop her. "What you say is everything, Kabir means nothing " he said, his voice heavy with despair before he turned away, leaving her standing there with all the chaos behind her...where rajeshwar was shouting for help. Dhanraj and his bodyguards came to pick up Anay as they ran for the hospital.

Without a second thought, Erica rushed after kabir, but Rajeshwar called out behind her. "You're going to Kabir?"

She nodded, her heart pounding. She didn't want to talk to anyone; she just needed to reach him. But she paused, waiting for Rajeshwar to finish.

"Erica, please don't tell Kabir about Smirti. If he finds out, he'll know about me too. Things will get more complicated , Your child won't come back, Erica, but mine will also be taken away. I might not be the best father, but I love Kabir a lot. If he gets to know it , he won't talk to me ever ....you don't know his anger.....Please, Erica, you made a mistake too. You'll ask for a second chance from him, right? Give me a second chance too.....Let this go... God is already punishing us!"

With hands clasped in front of him, Dhanraj's plea hung in the air, a desperate attempt to salvage what remained. Erica hesitated, weighing the gravity of his words, and after a brief moment of contemplation, she nodded. Then, without looking back, she sprinted away, determined to reach Kabir before it was too late.
