The next night-
-------------------------

Erica pushed open the door to her room, expecting the usual stillness of the space, but instead, she was met with the sound of rustling clothes and Kabir was standing there, his back to her and with precise movements of his hands he was combing his hair catched her attention. He was dressed in a sleek black shirt and jeans that fit him just right. every detail of his attair was perfect.

She leaned against the doorframe, watching him in silence for a moment before stepping closer.

"Are you going somewhere?" Erica’s voice was laced with curiosity, but Kabir didn’t even acknowledge her presence at first. His eyes remained focused on his reflection as he adjusted his shirt, then bent down to slide on his shoes, all the while whistling a carefree tune.

Erica raised an eyebrow, the question lingering in the air. “Kabir, I’m askingyou… where are you going, dressing up like this?”

Kabir didn’t answer  Instead, he stood up, still whistling, as if he hadn’t heard her. He glanced at his watch and tightened it around his wrist with a fluid motion, then grabbed his black leather jacket.

It was only when he turned to leave that Erica finally couldn’t stand it anymore.

“Kabir!” She stepped forward, her voice firm. "I’m asking you something! He stopped, but didn’t turn to face her immediately. Erica could see his eyes shift to where her hand was gripping his arm—a firm, determined hold. Slowly, he removed her hand . He looked at her with a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.

"Anay se pucho," he said, his voice dripping with a mix of sarcasm and amusement. "Usko zaroor pata hoga... maybe he’ll even show you some videos." His eyes gleamed with a tounting flame ..

He raised an eyebrow, the smirk never leaving his face. Without waiting for a reply, he walked past her, the faint sound of his boots echoed behind him.

Erica stood still. She glanced down at his clothes, his demeanor, and something clicked in her mind. *He wasn’t going to work—dressing like this.*

She didn’t waste a second. Rushing to her closet, she pulled out a little black dress, one that hugged her figure just right. The deep neckline and the way it ended just above her knees made her feel both daring and ready.

Within minutes, she was dressed, her heart pounding in her chest as she grabbed her phone and dashed to the car waiting outside. "Follow Kabir's car. Fast," she instructed the driver, her voice commanding. There was no time to think—only to act.

The drive was tense as she quickly applied makeup in the backseat. The car sped through the city, weaving through traffic, and Erica’s eyes never left the tail lights of Kabir’s car ahead.

Finally, they arrived at a pub. The neon lights flashing outside the entrance lit up the night, and the muffled sounds of laughter and music filtered out into the street. Kabir’s car was parked near the entrance.

Before she could think further, he stepped out of the car and went inside. Erica hurriedly wore her heels and made her way to the inside .

As she observed the atmosphere inside...the lovely moments of Paris pub flooded her mind...all the difference she had with Kabir seemed so minor as she remembered the love they shared...a smile crept on her lips remembering the intimacy they shared that night ...
