" I don't need it" kabir said in an egoistic tone refusing for the head massage.
"Look Kabir I m not dying to do this okay . You heard the doctor , and apart from me none is here to do this...so please put your ego aside and let me do it and if not you won't be able to sleep today as well" Erica said in warning tone.
Hearing this Kabir looked towards her it's true he couldn't sleep properly from last three nights !! His eyes softened but his ego was intact to he looked at her a minute but then turned his face otherside like a child showing tantrum!!
Watching his act a small smile crept on Erica's lips "such a child!!" She thought .
Kabir laid on his back , his head was on the pillow.... Erica sat near his pillow and started moving her Fingers in his hair ....it's been years somebody has touched Kabir's hair like that ... slowly he got relaxed... his nevers calm down....his eyes started dropping in the new found warmth but his mind was saying he should be angry with her .... fighting his thoughts he slowly slept...Erica kept moving her fingers in his hair ..after a while when she saw him slept she slowly took her hands back and thought to leave , when suddenly Kabir turned sideways and he put his face in her lap by wrapping his hands around her waist !!!! Erica got startled , her breathing rose...Kabir's face was so near her stomach ...she could feel his breath....this was so awkward....she looked down and saw he was sleeping his lips were parted and it was close to her stomach that's why it was fanning!!!!
Erica wanted to release herself from him , she was still very much mad at him but because she has seen him struggling to sleep in last three days so much....she didn't move ...her hands started caressing his backside hair ..and slowly she also slept like that ....
The sunlight invaded the room and slowly Kabir opened his eyes .....he found his head in Erica's lap , she was still sleeping...he looked towards the clock it was 11:00 am ...Kabir can't believe he slept this much ..he slowly removed his hands from her waist and got up...
With the click sound of washroom door Erica also got up....
Erica was talking with martha in the kitchen when saurav came in.
"Hello ....mam!" He said
"Hello..."she said not recognising him
"Mam, I am saurav , Kabir sir's PA ...he asked for my presence!" He told
"Ohh...he is upstairs...you can go" she said with a curtsious smile
"How are feeling now sir !!!" Saurav asked while showing the documents he asked for.
"Ahhh...don't ask about it" Kabir said rolling his eyes with a small smile.
"Tell me ... how's our deal with samaira and the textile contract we were working on and about that Rohit Mehra contract also the .."
Hold on..hold on... sir!!!!you are Fully loaded saurav said with amusing smile " Everything is fine ....some meetings are pushed a little as per your preference other than that everything is under control.
They were talking when Erica entered with Martha.....Erica gave coffee and snacks to saurav...and Martha placed a different tray for Kabir near him with medicines.
"Mam...do I need to give the fever medicine again" Martha asked looking at Erica
Erica came near Kabir touched his forehead with the back of her hand and said..."Yes...He still has slight fever" she didn't looked at Kabir...she gave a small smile to saurav and went...
Saurav watched her going...Kabir cleared his throat to get his attention and they got back to work...

It was raining Kabir was standing near the big glass window watching outside there was so many thoughts racing in his mind but nothing in specific to conclude...
Erica was also sitting near the window but little far from him....her head was resting on the glass ...her eyes were gloomy she was watching outside rain!!! Kabir looked towards her a few time ..he saw her sad face!!!! Only the voice of rain to heard in the room because there was just silence between them.....it was so ..so quite!!!!
After a while they laid on the bed on their sides...... None till now said a word.....Erica was watching the ceiling thinking something..... Kabir was also in thoughts whatever happened but in between that he took few glances of her ..but she didn't even looked his side even once... slowly they both drift to sleep!
