***AUTHOR'S POV***

*

As Valeria and Emilia reached the surface, the cold, crisp air filled their lungs, and the stars above seemed to shine brighter, as if celebrating their success. A triumphant smile tugged at Valeria’s lips as she held the Destroyer in her hand. Her heart pounded, and her breath came in excited bursts, the realization of her power flooding her senses.

Valeria whispered , eyes wide with awe
“It’s… magnificent.”

The sword, known as the Destroyer, was unlike anything Valeria had ever seen. It was a masterpiece of darkness and light, a perfect fusion of power and grace. The blade was long and slender, with a sharpness that seemed capable of cutting through reality itself. It shimmered with a bluish-black hue, almost as if it absorbed the night around it and transformed it into its own ethereal glow. The metal was neither silver nor steel, but a mysterious alloy that caught the light of the stars, making it sparkle as if infused with the cosmos.

Intricate runes were engraved along the blade’s length, glowing with a faint, pulsating energy. Each rune held ancient power, symbols of protection, destruction, and creation. They seemed to move, shifting slightly as if they were alive, whispering secrets of the universe to those who could understand them. The hilt was wrapped in dark leather, supple and firm under Valeria’s grip, providing comfort and control. It was adorned with a single black gemstone, polished and smooth, embedded at its center. The gem pulsed gently, in sync with the runes, as if it held the heartbeat of the sword itself.

The crossguard was elegantly crafted, sweeping outward in delicate, curved lines that resembled the wings of a dragon. It was forged from the same mysterious alloy as the blade, with intricate patterns etched into it, depicting scenes of battles long past and victories won. The pommel was simple yet powerful, a rounded end that completed the sword’s design, balancing its weight perfectly.

As Valeria held the Destroyer, she felt a surge of energy flow through her, connecting her to the sword as if it were an extension of her own being. It responded to her thoughts, the blade humming softly, vibrating with the promise of untold power. The cold of Antarctica seemed to fade, replaced by a warmth that spread from the sword’s core to Valeria’s hand, enveloping her in a comforting embrace.

Emilia smiled ,eyes filled with pride
“The Destroyer was always meant to be in your hands, Valeria. It recognizes its true master. With this sword, you are not just a warrior, but a force of nature. It holds the power of the elements, the strength of your past, and the promise of your future.”

Valeria’s eyes glistened as she stared at the Destroyer. She could feel its power humming through her veins, resonating with the essence of who she was. In that moment, she felt complete, as if a piece of herself that had been missing for so long had finally been found. The connection between her and the sword was undeniable, a bond forged through time and space, destiny and fate.

Valeria speaks, her voice soft but firm, filled with determination “With this sword, I will uncover the truth about my past and face whatever lies ahead. No one, not even Zelerious, will stand in my way.”

The icy plains of Antarctica stretch endlessly, the night sky above now shrouded in thick, swirling clouds. The stars have disappeared, swallowed by the darkness. The air grows colder, biting and unforgiving, as a sense of foreboding settles over the landscape. Valeria and Emilia stand side by side, the Destroyer glowing faintly in Valeria’s hand. They are surrounded by snow-covered mountains, their jagged peaks barely visible through the thickening fog.

As Valeria and Emilia began their journey away from the icy chasm, the atmosphere around them shifted. The air grew still, the temperature dropping further, turning their breath into clouds of mist. Valeria’s footsteps crunched softly in the snow, the Destroyer held tightly in her grip, its blade emitting a soft blue glow that pierced through the darkness.

Valeria ,glancing around, her voice hushed as she spoke “Emilia, do you feel that? The air…it’s different.”

Before Emilia could respond, the ground beneath their feet trembled, a deep, resonant vibration that sent a shiver up Valeria’s spine. The wind picked up suddenly, swirling around them in a chaotic dance, lifting snowflakes into a whirling vortex. A sound echoed through the night, a low, guttural growl that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once. It was a sound of power, ancient and unrestrained, a sound that spoke of fire and fury.

Emilia gasped , her eyes wide with fear
“By the ancient gods… he’s awake! He knows! He’s coming… The Ancalagon!”

The name alone sent a chill through Valeria’s heart. Ancalagon, the strongest of all dragons, a creature of legend whose power rivaled that of the gods themselves. It was said that his roar could split mountains, his fire could melt the hardest steel, and his wings could blot out the sun. Valeria had heard tales of such creatures, but the reality of his presence was far more terrifying.

Valeria tightened her grip on the Destroyer, trying to steady her voice
“Ancalagon? The dragon? But how…?”

Before she could finish her question, a shadow passed over them, darkening the already dim landscape. The temperature plummeted, and the wind roared louder, almost as if it was responding to the will of the beast that approached. Valeria’s heart pounded in her chest, her senses heightened, every nerve on edge.

Emilia 's voice trembled  but determined  “He must have sensed the Destroyer’s power

Emilia 's voice trembled  but determined
“He must have sensed the Destroyer’s power. The sword’s magic is ancient, and Ancalagon is bound to it. He is its guardian, a protector of the realms. He will not allow anyone to wield it without proving their worth.”

A massive figure loomed above them, shrouded in fog and darkness. The ground shook with each step the dragon took, the vibrations resonating through the ice. As the fog parted, revealing the creature in all its fearsome glory, Valeria’s breath caught in her throat.

Ancalagon stood before them, towering and immense, his scales a mix of black and silver, shimmering like polished armor in the faint light. His eyes were burning orbs of molten gold, piercing through the darkness, focusing directly on Valeria and the sword she held. His wings, vast and powerful, were spread wide, creating a wall of shadow that enveloped the icy landscape. Black veins ran across his chest and neck, glowing faintly with the same dark energy that Valeria had seen in her visions.

**Ancalagon spoke his voice boomed  ancient and powerful, echoing through the ice   “Who dares disturb my slumber? Who wields the Destroyer, the blade of darkness and light?”

Valeria felt the weight of his gaze upon her, as if he could see into her very soul. She raised the Destroyer, its blade gleaming in response to the dragon’s presence, a symbol of defiance and power.

Valeria stepped  forward, voice strong and unwavering   “I am Valeria, the one chosen by the Destroyer. I seek its power to reclaim my past and face the darkness that threatens this universe. I will not be stopped.”

Ancalagon’s eyes flickered with interest, a hint of recognition. His growl rumbled through the air, shaking the ground beneath them.

Ancalagon snarled , but not attacked
“You speak with the voice of a warrior, but do you have the heart of one? The Destroyer does not serve the weak. Prove yourself, or be consumed by the power you seek to control.”
