As Alexander soared over the dark mountain, the faint glow from its peak became clearer. He recognized the light as a signal—an indication that Jerone was indeed at the top. With urgency, he linked his mind with Kian.

“Kian, I’ve spotted a light at the edge of Dark Mountain. It’s Jerone. Meet me there immediately.”

Kian, who was still at the ocean’s edge, received the mental call and swiftly altered his course. He ran back towards the castle, his mind focused on reaching the mountain as quickly as possible. The urgency in Alexander’s message drove him faster.

Meanwhile, Alexander descended toward the mountain, his sharp eyes fixed on the source of the glow. The darkened terrain of the mountain seemed to grow more ominous as he approached, but the sight of the light provided a beacon of hope.

As he landed near the edge of the mountain top, he stood vigilant, waiting for Kian to arrive. The night air was cold and thin, the silence broken only by the occasional rustle of wind against the rocky surface.

With the two brothers converging on the spot, they hoped to find Jerone and resolve the situation before it escalated further. The night was fraught with tension, but their determination to help their brother and find answers drove them forward.

As Alexander waited at the mountain's edge, he saw Kian approaching from the direction of the ocean, his form cutting through the darkness with purpose. Shortly after, Asher appeared, having tracked the scent of his brother and followed it to the mountain.

The three brothers stood together, their concern evident in their expressions. The faint light that had drawn them here flickered against the backdrop of the dark mountain, casting long shadows across their faces.

Alexander turned to Kian and Asher. “We need to find Jerone. He’s somewhere near this light. Stay alert and keep close.”

Kian nodded, his gaze scanning the surroundings for any sign of their brother. Asher, his wolf senses finely tuned, extended his awareness, trying to sense any trace of Jerone’s presence.

The brothers began their search in earnest, moving cautiously but with determination toward the light, which now seemed to pulse gently, as if responding to their approach. The tension was palpable as they ventured deeper into the mountain’s rocky terrain, their bond and shared urgency driving them forward.

Jerone sat atop the mountain, staring blankly at the dark sky illuminated by the six moons. The faint light that had guided his brothers to him was a reflection of his inner turmoil. He was lost in thought, grappling with the weight of his recent actions and the consequences of rejecting Valeria.

As his brothers approached, he sensed their presence. The familiar energy of Alexander, Kian, and Asher reached him, stirring him from his reverie. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself as he prepared to face them.

Alexander, Kian, and Asher finally reached the summit, their eyes locking onto Jerone’s solitary figure. The light flickered softly around him, casting an ethereal glow that contrasted sharply with the brooding darkness of the mountain.

Alexander stepped forward, his voice steady but filled with underlying tension. “Jerone, what are you doing here? We’ve been looking for you.”

Jerone turned to face his brothers, his expression a mix of resignation and frustration. “I needed to be alone,” he said quietly, his gaze drifting back to the sky. “I’ve made mistakes, and I needed to think.”

Kian’s eyes softened with concern. “You need to come back with us. Valeria is suffering because of what you did. We need to address this.”

Asher stood nearby, his gaze fixed on Jerone, the disappointment and worry in his eyes clear. “You’ve hurt her, Jerone. You need to make things right.”

Jerone’s shoulders sagged as he absorbed their words. The burden of his actions weighed heavily on him, and he knew that facing his brothers—and facing the consequences of his choices—was the first step toward redemption.

Jerone stood up, his frustration boiling over as he faced his brothers. “Why should I apologize to her?” he snapped. “She left us broken once before, in her previous life as Elanora Diyana. Why should I regret my actions when she’s done the same to us?”

Alexander's eyes narrowed, his patience wearing thin. “You know that’s not the point. We’re talking about now, not the past. We’re talking about the pain she’s in right now because of you.”

Kian stepped closer, his tone firm but calm. “Your rejection has caused her immense suffering. It’s not just about her past actions; it’s about making things right in the present. You owe her that much.”

Asher, standing slightly apart, added with a touch of sorrow in his voice, “No matter what happened before, Valeria is our mate. We need to come together to heal and support her.”

Jerone’s gaze flickered between his brothers, the weight of their words sinking in. Despite his initial resistance, he couldn’t ignore the truth in their statements. He knew he had acted out of anger and hurt, but now he faced the reality of the damage he’d caused.

His pride wavered as he looked away, struggling with the inner conflict of his stubbornness versus the need to make amends.
