My eyes stared at the floor in front of me as Ikzo clips the back of a new suit. This one was two pieces with the main one being like a body suit. It was tight to my body with the same V cut around my neck. The shoulders were cap sleeved and the bottom covered most of my butt. There were pants that slipped on over it so put together it almost looked like the original suit. However its wasn't black, it was blue.
While his fingers worked I mentally tried to put names to faces. We were going to meet his friends at the sea craters today and I was hoping I would get everyone's name right. It was difficult considering their names were abnormal and there was ten of them.
"That one is Stettats." Ikzo filled in my stalling mind when I picture one of the purple men.
"Thanks." I muttered.
His hands finished the last hook on my neck before sliding up and out to my shoulders. Within a few seconds I felt his lips press lovely against the side of my neck. His hands glided down my arms then stopped as they came around my waist.
"Don't worry too much about remembering their names. They know it'll take a little bit." He guided my back to his front. "Half of them still forget." He added the last part with half a laugh.
I smiled at his reassurance. "That's good to know. Besides you'll fill me in when I forget right?"
"Of course Likaliv," he agreed immediately. "Although they all liked you so you could probably say a completely different name and they wouldn't even care."
I laughed at that and spun to face him, "I suppose you would know." I paused then spoke again, "They know you read their mind right?"
He nodded. "Most don't care. They know it's just an ability we have that's natural on our planet. The only two that don't like it are Trix and Non so we purposely ignore them."
That made sense. It was nice that they respected their decision not to have their minds read. I remember figuring out they could read mine the whole time, definitely not pleasant. However I was used to Ikzo being in mine all the time now though.
"Well not all the time."
I sent him a pointed look.
"I know that contradicts but it's true. For us we have to concentrate on someone to hear them, like tuning into their mind. Most of the time it's always open however we can choose not to. Sometimes I just get pulled into another conversation and it slips away. If I concentrate hard enough it's there all the time."
"Good to know you deliberately choose to eavesdrop and mess with my mind," I teased.
His smile went from hardly there to full on arrogant. "I thought you liked when I mess with your mind."
To prove his point a zap of pleasure ran though me.
I smacked his chest. "Don't be cocky. What happened to my sweet Ikzo?"
"I'm still sweet to you Likaliv, he just changed a bit when you ran your tongue up my d—"
"Alright that's enough let's go," I cut him off, tugging him towards the door as I muttered, "We'll both never make it there at this rate."
He laughed from behind me, allowing me to drag him out of the room before pulling me to his side. Still with a large grin he pressed a kiss to the top of my head.
We ended up taking the smaller ship because Pher and the others left earlier than us. In all fairness they weren't staying in our estate so we wouldn't have group with them anyway.
Ikzo flew while trying to teach me different controls. He was determined to teach me how to fly his ships. It was intimidating and I really did try to pay attention but there was no way I was learning it anytime soon.
