The first thing that I registered as I woke up was the throbbing pain in my head. It was coming from the back of my skull and traveled towards the front. It didn't take long to figure out what the source was. Straxium had hit me when I wouldn't go willingly.
I sucked in a breath before opening my eyes and pushing up into a sitting position. The room I was in was completely empty side from a table. The floor and walls were made of the same shiny metal as their ship was. I immediately concluded that I was on one of the crafts, probably heading back to .
I couldn't feel us moving however I really only did when we were taking off or landing. So we had to be in the air already.
Ikzo? I thought. Ikzo if you can hear me has me. I think I'm on a ship heading back to Nastruapra.
I let my mind fall silent. Ikzo never specified if there was a range limit on his mind reading. He had said before that it was 'as far as he wanted'. I wondered how true that was. Ikzo wasn't one to lie however it could have meant just for the estate. Could he hear me if I was on another planet?
It didn't seem possible but then again I was on a spaceship being taken by aliens to another planet. None of this should be possible.
The door that was in front of me pushed open with a puff of air. Coming in from another metal hall was Straxium followed by another green man. I hardly paid attention to him. They all looked so much alike.
"Hikonia," Straxium greeted in a monotone. The other guy stayed silent as the door closed. He then stood unnaturally straight beside it.
I didn't answer the twisted doctor. I turned my gaze from him completely. It wasn't worth screaming and fighting with him yet. If I was on a ship I would have no idea how many more there were. Even if it were just the two I couldn't operate the craft to get back to Occolla.
I tried not to let my nerves overwhelm me. I needed to keep my head until I could figure out how to get out of here. I knew Ikzo would be looking for me however I didn't know how long that would take. Even still, I was nervous. In fact I was trying to physically hide that I was scared. Straxium's main goal has always been to cut me open and dissect me. I didn't want to imagine how much worse it'll be this time. Another thing Ikzo said, they'd be mad I got away and use it as a reason to be more cruel.
"You never were a talkative thing." He moved further into the room.
I held still though my eyes did go to him as he approached me. He was watching me like a rat in a cage. I glared at him for it.
"Technically I'm not supposed to touch a Hye Jisha," he kept going. "It would be cause for war within my galaxy."
As he got closer I glanced to the man behind him. He hadn't moved an inch. I knew the door was controlled by approved handprints. They were probably both approved.
"Notice how I said my galaxy?" Straxium's question was rhetorical. "Because you don't belong here."
Without warning he reached down and wrenched me up harshly by my upper arms. His grip made me wince.
"You are just some stupid Sypien that manipulated equally as idiotic Occollans into staying. You really think being partnered to one makes you an equal? As if I would forget you were a worthless insect just because of some title that doesn't even resonate with your fellow pests?"
His now visible hatred made him scarier. In his short rant he exposed more of his pointed teeth. Ikzo's were similar however coming from Straxium they looked like a threat, something to be feared. His orange eyes mimicked the color of hot lava around his narrowed W pupil. His nails dug into my exposed skin and I could feel the faint trail of blood running down to my elbow.
