**The Night Before**
The quiet hum of Taylor Swift's living room was occasionally interrupted by the soft sound of her pacing. She held her phone close, her anxiety palpable as she spoke to her brother-in-law, Jason Kelce.
"Jason, I'm really at my wit's end here," Taylor said, her voice tinged with frustration. "How am I supposed to convince Travis to stay away from the show? I threatened to call you if he didn't listen, but he's still so determined."
Jason's voice on the other end was calm and practical. "Taylor, don't stress. You know how Travis is. The best way to handle this is to give him a reason that he can't refuse. Just tell him his nieces want to see him. It'll work like a charm."
Taylor paused, considering his advice. "You're right. He does love spending time with them. If I frame it as an opportunity to bond with them, he won't be able to say no."
Jason's tone grew firmer. "Exactly. And once he's here, I'll keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't overdo it. You just focus on your performance. His recovery is crucial."
"Thanks, Jason," Taylor said, her voice softening. "I really appreciate your help with this."
"No problem," Jason replied. "We'll keep him on track. You go out there and give it your all."
After their call ended, Taylor felt a mix of relief and anxiety. The plan was in place, and now she needed to focus on her show while knowing that Travis was being taken care of.

**The Next Day**
The sun was bright and clear as Taylor drove towards Jason's house. Beside her, Travis Kelce chatted animatedly about his excitement to see his nieces, completely unaware of the plan unfolding behind the scenes.
"You sure you're up for this? You need to take it easy," Taylor said, trying to sound casual but concerned.
Travis smiled, undeterred. "I'm fine. Just looking forward to hanging out with the kids. It'll be good for me."
As they arrived at Jason's house, Taylor pulled into the driveway and parked the car. Jason and Kylie were waiting at the door with warm smiles.
"Hey, Taylor! Travis!" Kylie greeted them enthusiastically. "We're so glad to see you."
"Hi, Kylie," Taylor replied, trying to maintain her cheerful facade. "Thanks for having us."
Kylie ushered them inside, where the joyful chaos of the kids immediately enveloped Travis. Wyatt, Ellie, and Bennett rushed up, their faces beaming with excitement.
"Uncle Travis!" they cried in unison, enveloping him in hugs.
Travis's tiredness seemed to vanish as he knelt down, his face lighting up with genuine happiness. "Hey, you guys! I've missed you all!"
As Travis engaged with the kids, Taylor exchanged a knowing look with Jason. He gave her a subtle nod, signaling that the plan was in motion. Jason took on the role of a vigilant host, guiding Travis into calm, kid-friendly activities. Board games, crafts, and storytime were the order of the evening.
Kylie kept the atmosphere light and enjoyable, and Taylor could see that Jason was doing a good job of keeping Travis occupied without any excessive excitement.
Later that night, Taylor wrapped up her concert, which went off without a hitch. Exhausted but exhilarated, she took a moment to collect her thoughts before heading to pick up Travis.

**After the Concert**
Taylor arrived at Jason's house, her makeup still fresh from the show, her stage clothes replaced with a more relaxed outfit. She walked in to find Jason and Kylie still engaged in light-hearted conversation with Travis, who looked content but ready to head home.
"Hey, Travis," Taylor said with a tired but genuine smile. "Ready to go?"
Travis stood up, stretching slightly. "Yeah, I had a great time with the kids. Thanks for letting me hang out."
Taylor nodded, her relief palpable. "Of course. Let's get you home."
As they made their way back to the car, Taylor felt a wave of contentment knowing that Travis had followed the plan and had been kept distracted. They drove home together, the car ride filled with light conversation about the kids and the evening's activities.
Once they arrived at their house, Taylor noticed Travis was scrolling on her phone. As they walked inside, he suddenly stopped and looked at her with a puzzled expression.
"Hey, Taylor, why didn't you tell me there's a secret group chat with Kylie, Jason, Dad, and Mom that I'm not in?" Travis asked, trying to suppress a smile.
Taylor's eyes widened in surprise. "Oh, that? It's just a little family chat where we discuss... well, family stuff. Nothing major."
Travis raised an eyebrow. "How many other secret chats are you in?"
Before Taylor could respond, Travis reached for her phone. "Travis, you really shouldn't be looking at screens. It's not good for you," Taylor said, trying to sound firm but amused.
Travis, however, was already unlocking her phone. He quickly navigated to the messaging app and found a group chat titled "Chiefs Crew," which included several familiar names, including Andy Reid.
"What's this?" Travis exclaimed, his voice tinged with both amusement and curiosity. "You're in a group chat with the Chiefs players and Andy Reid?"
Taylor sighed, looking sheepish. "Uh, yeah. It's just a way for us to keep in touch and share updates. You know how it is."
Travis shook his head, a playful grin spreading across his face. "So, while I'm stuck here with the kids, you're chatting with the whole team? Nice to know where your priorities are."
Taylor laughed, reaching for her phone. "Hey, it's not like that. I just wanted to stay connected and be supportive. But, okay, you caught me."
Travis chuckled, shaking his head. "You're something else, you know that?"
As Taylor took her phone back, she smiled at Travis, grateful for his good-natured response. The evening had gone well, and despite the minor revelations and playful teasing, she felt content.
"Thanks for letting me take part in the secret chat, even if it was by accident," Travis said, giving her a teasing nudge.
"Anytime," Taylor replied with a grin. "Now, let's get some rest. We've had quite the day."
As they headed upstairs to bed, the light-hearted banter continued. The night had been a reminder of the strong bonds they shared, and despite the challenges, their love and support for each other remained unwavering.
Taylor and Travis settled into bed, feeling a deep sense of satisfaction. The plan had worked, Travis had been taken care of, and the show had gone off without a hitch. As they drifted off to sleep, they were both looking forward to the future, knowing they could face any obstacle together, with a bit of humor and a lot of love.
