This is just a bunch of short stories of Taylor being short
Title: "Floaties and Giggles"The sun was blazing overhead as Taylor floated in the shallow end of the pool, enjoying the cool water. Travis and his friends were in the deep end, laughing and splashing each other, and she could hear them encouraging him to call her over.
"Taylor! C'mon over here!" Travis's voice boomed across the pool, full of playful mischief.
Taylor, at her petite 4'6", gave him a look that mixed both amusement and skepticism. "You do realize I can't touch the bottom over there, right?"
"Come on, I got you!" He grinned, standing easily in the 5-foot water with just his shoulders showing. It was almost unfair how easily he moved in the pool.
With a deep breath, Taylor pushed off the wall, making her way toward him. The water rose higher and higher, covering her shoulders and then her chin as she drifted into the deeper end. Just as she reached him, she suddenly sank, flailing in the water as her feet searched for a bottom she couldn't reach.
"Oh—Taylor!" Travis laughed, moving quickly to grab her as she bobbed back up, clinging to him as if he were her life preserver.
"Not funny!" she huffed, even though a smile was tugging at her lips.
He held her on his hip with ease, supporting her weight as if she weighed nothing at all. "Hey, you're the one who insisted you could make it," he teased, unable to hide the smirk in his voice.
"Yeah, because you called me over!" she retorted, playfully splashing water at him.
Just then, Jason, Travis's brother, called out from the side of the pool. "Trav, get her some floaties! Unless you plan on holding her all day!"
Travis chuckled, looking down at her. "He's got a point. Stay here for a second, shorty," he said, giving her a quick kiss on the forehead before he waded over to the pool's edge, climbing out to grab a set of bright pink arm floaters.
When he returned, Taylor eyed the floaties with suspicion. "Seriously? Pink floaties?"
"Oh yeah, they're all yours, T-Swizzle." He couldn't contain his laughter as he slipped the floaties over her arms, making sure they were snug. "Now you won't sink."
She looked down at the floaties, rolling her eyes but unable to keep from giggling. "Fine. But if anyone takes pictures, I'm never going to live this down."
Travis scooped her up again, carrying her back into the deep end. "Don't worry. I'm pretty sure they're all laughing too hard to find their phones right now."
As he let her go, she bobbed in the water, the floaties keeping her up as she tried to keep a serious face. But Travis's broad smile and the playful twinkle in his eyes made her laugh.
