I'm so happy Disney is doing this, I just wish they would create more Disney princesses and with disabilities too. As a child and even now Tiana is my favorite Disney princesses because she got underestimated and proved people wrong and worked extremely hard to get what she wanted and even though everyone belittled her and told her to quit she still came out on top and I've been doing that my whole life & as a child I guess I just saw a little bit of myself in her. I just wish they would come out with more princesses and characters that have disabilities.
There are so many kids out there with disabilities and look around at the world and realize they don't have anything to resemble them. Like when Barbie came out with Barbie's with Down syndrome and blind Barbie's and service dogs. And for a person with multiple disabilities it's already hard enough having to adapt to the world. As a kid I would come home from school and sit and cry in my bedroom for hours listening to mean on repeat. And to me The man yes it's about the inequalities between men and women but it reminds me of the inequalities between non disabled and disabled people because there's a lot of discrimination happening just like with men and women.
And as a person with Cerebral Palsy I'm way too excited for this.
I'm sorry I know none of you care but at least Disney is adding even more diversity.
