They were not ready for the violence they were exposed to—the complete disregard for a person's autonomy by a figure who believed himself more important than God. This creature, who believed he was the salvation of an extinct race, subjugated all those under him, kidnapped Cross, bent her to his will, and made her his concubine. They now understood the full scope of the gift she had spoken of previously—the one that meant any children she had would not bear her genetics. It was because of this entity and his desire to use her to resurrect the dinosaurs. To him, she was a tool and nothing more. But because of her own gifts, that touch, that contact, had left his mark, his power on her forevermore.

The catgirl form washed through the group as they felt the personal violation of their autonomy and free will. Only Nappa, Vegeta, and Future Trunks, who did not know the technique, did not change. The whole group felt dirty; they understood why she hated the power now. It was like a slime that never washed off. True, she would never use it for such a thing, and yet how that power came to be, how it implanted itself in her genetics, and how she was used as a tool for a madman—they understood why she was hesitant to lean into that power.

Vegeta looked around at all the cat girls, noting their tails, ears, eyes, and fangs. They were so similar to Saiyans in appearance and yet different enough that he still felt a sense of superiority.

Trunks then offered his hand and shared the memories of the future—how androids 17 and 18, after accomplishing their mission (or rather, their mission accomplishing itself as Goku died of the heart virus), went on a rampage across the world. A pair of powerful beings who simply sought to have fun and damned anyone who got in their way. They were irresponsible and egotistical and had more than enough power to back it up. But unlike some other would-be conquerors, they had no interest in ruling. They simply wanted to flex their muscles, prove their strength, and then do whatever the hell they wanted. There was still law in the future, but there was chaos, death, and the looming threat that if 17 or 18 wanted to go to a carnival, you better comply. If they wanted a new set of clothes, you gave it to them. If the androids showed up in your neck of the woods, you simply capitulated to whatever they wanted, or they would kill you in cold blood.

The androids were childlike and irresponsible, but lacking any sort of disciplinary action and with the power to lash out at anyone who dared oppose them, they ruled in chaos.

Krillin was the voice of reason. "But if we stop them now, if we are that voice of reason, if we discipline them now, they will not fall into that habit of destruction. We can save them," his gaze turning to Cross. "You can save them."

Cross hated that he was right, and she hated more the fact that if they were indeed victims, then it was her duty to save them as well.

"We will need to restrain them, and that means..." She looked over to Chi-Chi. "Your husband and Raditz are going to need to go Super Saiyan. We are going to need that strength because I will have to hold them still for as long as it takes for me to reach into their minds and start deprogramming them. And yes, it will hurt. They will fight. That, unfortunately, is how this power works when used offensively—it hurts."

The group remembered that too, piercing drilling pain as the figure forced his way into Cross's mind so he could bend her to his will.

Chi-Chi shivered. She still remembered Namek, she still remembered that dead look and that killing intent. Even though she had seen Super Saiyan a couple of times since then, it still haunted her. But she knew if these two were innocent and victims of a madman, she had to let Goku do what he must, and with tearful eyes, she nodded.

Cross looked out across all of her cat girl friends, another idea forming. "And there may be one other trick I can teach all of you to get a little bit more power. It will take some time, meaning the androids will be left to rampage on their own, but it's clear that we don't stand a chance as we are now anyway. We'd just be throwing our lives away."

A soft boil spread through the group. They hated the idea, but they also knew it was true.
