The gang waited at the station. While Bulma by no means spoke for the planet, she did have quite a lot of influence as the research lead of Capsule Corp and de facto CEO, as her father began to step back to enjoy retirement. Cross saw the multiversal train stations as an opportunity for commerce and research she just could not pass up, so the station was established on Earth mainly as an extension of Capsule Corp, and not so much for the planet itself. It also gave the defenders a centralized location to meet. As the announcer called the arrival of the Galaxy Line, they waited for their friend to return, noting Goku, Gohan, and Raditz's sudden appearance at the train station.

"Goku! Gohan! Raditz! Where did you three come from?!"

"Instant Transmission," Goku said plainly.

"Instant what?"

"It's a technique we learned while on Yardrat, allowing us to instantaneously move from one place to another as long as we have a ki signature to lock onto," Raditz explained, a wide grin on his face. "And it wasn't the only trick we learned."

"Well, I hope you learned some good techniques because the androids are due soon," Piccolo said, turning his attention to Goku. "And I hope you remember to take that medicine."

Goku laughed. "I have it right on me, don't worry, Piccolo. But I'm not supposed to take it until I start feeling the effects, and so far, I feel pretty good."

Gohan looked at his father with concern. "Dad, are you sure you're okay? You've been pushing yourself really hard lately."

Goku smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, Gohan. I feel great! Besides, we've got to be ready for those androids."

Raditz chimed in, "Yeah, kid. Your old man's tougher than he looks. We've got some new tricks up our sleeves."

Piccolo nodded, his eyes narrowing. "Just make sure you're ready. We can't afford any mistakes."

From the train emerged Cross in her familiar dragon girl form, a wide grin on her face. "You guys will not believe who I met on my way off of Yardrat back to Earth."

Their conversation was cut short by a telepathic message from Dende, alerting them to mass destruction on a nearby island. The group quickly took flight, Cross surprising all of them as she shifted mechanical booster jets onto her back from her mech form while still in her organic dragon form. This allowed her to shoot ahead, flying with her ki and not relying on the speed of her wings. Despite all this, they couldn't sense her energy.

As Cross activated her mechanical booster jets, the Z Fighters watched in awe.

"What kind of technology is that?" Bulma asked, her eyes wide with curiosity.

Cross grinned. "A trick a friend taught me while I was away. It allows me to partially transform my body and use techniques that once required magic to now use my ki instead."

Vegeta crossed his arms, a smirk playing on his lips. "Impressive. But let's see how you handle yourself in a real fight."

As the gang reached the source of the destruction, they saw a pair of figures in the center: an old man with a glass dome exposing a visible brain and a rotund, pale clown of a man, neither of whom were giving off any energy readings. They engaged, only to find that as weak as the figures seemed by appearance, their battle power was just inconceivable, easily 10 times or more than their strongest fighters. They had an ace up their sleeve: the ability to drain energy. The team was quickly put on the back foot, the androids easily overpowering them, and any small advantage gained by using ki attacks was negated when the androids held out a hand and the ribbon on their palm absorbed the attack, making them even stronger.
