Fight! The androids are here

Like before, the arrival of the androids was revealed when Dende sent a telepathic message about massive destruction in a nearby town. The Z fighters flew off to engage, only to find their enemies were not what they expected. Well, not what the present fighters expected. The young, blonde girl and her twin brother with black hair were exactly the monsters that the future boy recognized. However, their third companion, a red-haired brute as big as a house in green Red Ribbon Army armor, was unrecognized. As they saw Goku landing, they became cold, hard, and merciless. A single unified thought and focus escaped their lips: "Kill Son Goku." And yet, they had the power to back it up. They were far stronger than the doctor and his clown companion, a league all their own.

Cross fell back, taking up the defensive as Vegeta noticed her eyes shift, becoming black glass shields. While it was far too small to read, text that reminded him of his old scouter was scrolling across them. The dragon girl was planning something.

Raditz, Gohan, and Goku all shot up in size as if going Oozaru but not actually transforming. Their power scaled with them along with their speed, but it wasn't enough.

That's when Vegeta saw Cross's ears change, becoming more like metal antennas as Puar, Nappa, and Chi-Chi fell one after another. But before the androids could land the finishing blow, they glowed and vanished.

"You have them, Navi?" Cross put a hand to her antenna ear. "Good, I think they're gonna have company though."

'Teleportation,' Vegeta mused. 'Clever, she's playing defense so no one dies because we don't have active Dragon Balls.'

Raditz, Goku, and Gohan shared a look. "Looks like I'll have to break my promise to Chi-Chi already," Goku announced, getting ready to power up.

"No, brother," Raditz stepped up. "I know my past actions have painted me the black sheep of this family, so if anyone is to disappoint Miss Chi-Chi, it would be me!"

Raditz's energy flared as power surged out of him, his aura turning a golden yellow. His hair stood up as it flashed to blonde, his eyes haunting teal. But even transformed into a Super Saiyan, Raditz just wasn't enough. He tried to dodge and evade, but he wasn't fast enough. Even his special trick, where he could turn his hair into 1000 needles like a porcupine missile, was just dodged or hit to no effect. Then Raditz was down, quickly teleported away by Cross as the twins tore their way through the group. Vegeta looked over, trying to figure out what plan she was scheming.

"Word of advice, invader," Android 18, the girl, sped in before he could even react. The world seemed to slow to an instant. She was too fast and too close to dodge or evade. In his cockiness with his immortality, Vegeta had forgotten that immortality doesn't help if you're still alive after an attack. She came in and shattered his arm, leaving it limp. He screamed out in pain, holding it with his other arm. This was not something he would recover from quickly, thanks to his immortality. This he had to heal the long way, taking him out of the fight.

Before the casualties could mount any further, they were all whisked away, teleported by Cross. The team stewed inside the train, floating in orbit, trying to figure out how they could defeat this trio of trouble.
