29. We're The Invasion

『 Ni-ki's POV 』

So there were stones being thrown at us, from all directions. Seemed like a ridiculous form of attack but it was quite effective because Yuna passed out immediately after the word "ATTACK" and got hit straight in the head.

"I'll heal her," Sullyoon informed as she ran towards Yuna. The stones just seemd to bounce off of her. I'd kill to be like that. I wanted to change into my dragon form but the building was too small for that.

"They're all around us. We just can't see them," I informed. I could sense them and hear them slightly, I just couldn't see them and I couldn't move because the stones were coming from everywhere.

"I'll try to get rid of whatever they're using to stay hidden," Bae informed. Jungwon, was using the stones being thrown at us to create a wall around us. The guy is actually quite smart.

"No, it's the light." Kyujin said. "They're bending light, like we did."

"This place is draining me fully," Sunoo informed.

"Stay in the shade of the wall for now," Jini suggested. "We'll deal with these stone flingers."

"Ni-ki, we need you to tell us where they are." Jiwoo said.

"They've surrounded us, on all sides. We couldn't even possibly run away." I said.

"They also have the advantage of invisibility." Jungwon added.

"I can change that," Bae said and turned us invisible. That didn't work, because the stones kept coming.

"Okay, they've got some sound muffling charm." Yuna deducted.

"Yeah, girl. You need to stop passing out." Sullyoon said. Yuna just rolled her eyes in reply.

"Kyu, I'll keep us invisible. Try to bend the light they're bending. Yuna, get rid of that sound spell." Bae said.

Yuna managed to get rid of the muffling charm or whatever it was and now I knew where everyone was. They were sacred, nervous, holding their breaths because they didn't want to get caught. But I could hear them, I could hear the sweat trickling down their forehead, their hearts beating faster than normal and their fear. I could sense their fear. I loved these powers of mine. But it was overwhelming too.

"I'll get Alyonna." I heard a whisper.

"Got it!" Kyujin exclaimed. And now we could see them, there were so many of them. Children, adults, and some of the creatures that I saw in the previous realm. And they all looked scared.

"We're not here to harm you," Kyujin said.

"You're gonna kill us like you killed the others," a kid said, faintly. I wasn't sure if the others heard him, but I did.

"We didn't kill anyone," I said, feigning confusion. "What are you talking about?"

"All those deaths in the realm. They're you guys, aren't they?" an adult spoke up.

"No," Yuna answered. "We literally set foot in this realm less than an hour ago."

"Lies!" Another voice sounded. More shouts and murmurs started.

"Silence!" A commanding voice said. I looked towards the direction of the voice and saw a girl. Quite pretty and not that tall, though she was definitely taller than Jiwoo and Kyujin, the shorties. She walked with so much confidence. She was dressed in all white and was wearing gloves. Kinda sus.
