One visit to a certain grocery store to see a certain someone can change everything.

Max's POV:
Okay, so let me just start by saying that this morning was not going so great, and let me tell you why.
To start, I reluctantly agreed to join the guys in their stupid D&D campaigns, and they would've gone better if they didn't always have rule: newest member has to do this, newest member has to do that. I don't know who came up with that bullshit rule, but I when I find out, I will punch them in their stupid rule-making yapper.
Well, on this particular day, the whole routine felt different. It started off normal, me having to go down to Big Buy and get them more junk food, and I would've complained, but not this time, because today, my special lady was going to be there.
I'm talking, of course, about El. After we all finally killed Vecna and saved our world, she and I started to date. Now that all the military gone, too, we don't have to worry about them catching her anymore. Today was perfect timing because I knew she was about to go on her break soon, so I decided to make myself a little more... well, let's just say that she'll blush when she sees me.
On my skateboard, I rushed to my place to change into something more comfortable, not just for myself, but for her, too. I was planning to take her into the bathroom and give her a little... present. I was so excited.
I went into my room and changed into a blue crop top, with just enough crop for El to get a good look at my tight stomach, and black shorts with my spiky black boots. I even put on a little black lipstick and eye shadow. When I was done, I left my house and hopped on my board, riding it all the way to Bradley's Big Buy.
It took a few minutes, but once I was there, I hopped off my board and went inside. One of the first things I saw upon entering was those familiar light brown curls. I walked up to them and decided to surprise them. I put my hands over her eyes.
Me: "Guess who?"
I could see her smiling from back here.
El: "Hi, Max."
She turns around and holds my hands with her own.
El: "What brings you by?"
Me: "I just wanted to see my favorite person in the world, aka: my special lady."
She starts to look around, then leans in.
El: "Maxie, keep it down, someone might hear."
Me: "Aww..."
El: "But you are my favorite person in the world, too."
Me: "Yay!"
El: "I was about to go on my break, so I guess I'll see you afterwards?"
Me: "Actually... can you come to the bathroom with me? I need help with something."
El: "Umm, sure... but why?"
Me: "I'll show you when we get there."
I take her hand and lead us to the family restroom, only because it's the only place in this whole store where we can get some privacy. Once we're in, I lock the door.
El: "So what did you want to-"
Before she could finish, I grab her and pin her to the wall, her arms above her head. She smirks.
