Max's POV:

El had invited me over to the cabin after we all left the pool, and the way she said it, it sounded like she had something she needed to talk about. Whatever it was, I'm willing to help her.

Right now, we're in her bedroom, both of us sitting on the bed across from each other.

Me: "So, what did you want to talk about, El? I remember you said earlier it was something about when you went to the bathroom."

I thought for a brief moment that she got her period, so I started to worry.

Me: "Did you have your period?"

El: "No... it wasn't that. It was something much different, but that can wait because I have something else I need to say that will eventually lead up to that point."

Me: "Oh... well, what is it?"

El took a deep shaky breath before saying else, so this must be hard for her. I tried to ease the moment.

Me: "Hey, it's okay, El. You can tell me anything."

She nods.

El: "I just... I like you, Max. I really like you, not just as a friend, more than a friend, like a crush, a big crush."

My eyes widened with shock. She really feels that way about me? I mean, I like her like that, too, which is why I ended things with Lucas, but I didn't think she'd actually like me back.

Me: "Oh... how long have you been feeling this way?"

El: "For a little while. I didn't know what it was at first, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized it's true."

She then places her hand on the side of my face, and I didn't back away. In fact, I actually leaned in.

El: "Can I kiss you?"

This made me smile.

Me: "Yes."

Slowly, our heads leaned in, and our lips met. It was a short kiss at first, then we went back in for a longer one. I felt her place her other hand on my arm, and I wrapped my other arm around her waist. We pulled away after some time.

Me: "I know it's pretty obvious right now, but I really like you, too."

This made El smile wide.

Me: "I have another question, though: what made you decide to make your move now?"

El: "Heh... funny you should ask."

She places her hands on my arms and lifts them up a little.

El: "It was these."

I was a little surprised, but I found it kind of hot that she loves my arms. This made me smirk.

Me: "Oh, really? Do my arms turn you on?"

El was a little confused.

El: "Turn me on?"

Me: "Yeah, it's a way of saying how something makes you feel a certain way, mainly in a sexual way."

El: "Oh... *quietly* that explains it."

Me: "What does?"

El: "When you showed off your arms to me earlier, I started to feel something between my legs. It was a warm feeling, and I saw that some strange liquid was dripping down my leg. I wanted to get rid of it, so that's when I went to the bathroom, and... I rubbed the area that was making me feel good, and more of that liquid spilled out."
