Shivangi's POV
The past few days have honestly been a whirlwind of happiness and relief, almost like I've been living in a dream. We spent two days in Ireland, and it was just perfect. The fresh air, the change of scenery, and being away from everything made me feel so much lighter. It's been such a long time since I've felt this carefree and genuinely happy. I actually felt like I could breathe again. Then, when we came back, Rocky didn't stop there. He took it upon himself to make sure I continued to feel good.
He planned everything-took me to the movies, out for a beautiful dinner, shopping, and even skating. I can't remember the last time I had this much fun. It was like, for the first time in forever, I felt alive again, like all the heaviness I'd been carrying was lifting. And honestly, I don't know how to thank Rocky enough for that.
Right now, though, things are a bit different. I'm sitting in my room with my laptop, and I've been strictly ordered not to leave. Yes, Rocky ordered me to stay here. He's being super protective because I haven't been feeling well lately. My head has been spinning so much these past few days, and my mood swings are just out of control. It's like one moment I'm fine, and the next, I'm completely drained. Rocky's really worried, and even though he had to leave for work, he didn't want to go.
He kept hesitating, especially after what happened last time when things got bad, but I reassured him that I'd be okay. I could see how torn he was, but I promised him I'd take care of myself while he's away at his meeting. Still, I know he's probably thinking about me the whole time.
I recently posted a few chapters of my story, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much from it. But then, out of nowhere, it completely blew up! I mean, in just a week, it got so many views, way more than I had imagined. I was beyond excited, and honestly, it made me feel really happy to see that kind of support. It's like all the effort I've been putting into writing suddenly got recognized. I even posted another chapter after seeing the response, and now that I've got some free time with no major tasks on my list, I thought I'd do something nice. I figured, why not cook Rocky's favorite dish as a way of saying thank you to him? It's not a grand gesture, but it's something personal, something I know will mean a lot to him. After all, he's been so supportive, and this is the least I could do.
So, I made my way to the kitchen, feeling pretty excited about cooking. When I walked in, I saw the staff already busy with their tasks, preparing things for dinner as usual. One of the workers noticed me and politely came up to ask, "Ma'am, do you need anything?" He seemed a bit curious as to why I was there since I don't usually handle the cooking myself. I smiled at him, trying to keep things casual, and said, "Oh, no, no, I don't need anything right now. I just wanted to ask if dinner has been prepared yet?"
At that moment, I noticed a sudden shift in his expression. His whole demeanor changed, and he looked really nervous. He hesitated for a second before stammering, "N-no, ma'am, we haven't made it yet, but I'll start right away." There was this real worry in his voice, and he looked almost panicked, like he had made some huge mistake. I wasn't quite sure why he was reacting that way, so I just smiled and tried to reassure him, saying, "That's okay, but you don't need to worry about making dinner tonight."
