"Bilkul meri lag rahi ho" he said.
(Looking just like mine)

His words caught me off guard, and I looked up at him with a raised eyebrow, confused by his response. Seeing my reaction, he quickly added, "I mean, bilkul pyari lag rahi ho."
(I mean looking very pretty)

I nodded, a small smile forming on my lips. His initial comment may have been a bit awkward, but I could tell from his flustered expression that he meant it in the sweetest way possible.

Then, I felt Rocky gently take my hand, and without saying a word, he led me to the dressing table. I followed him, curious about what he had planned next. He made me sit down in front of the mirror, and before I could even ask what he was doing, he grabbed the hair dryer and started drying my hair. I tried to tell him that I could do it myself, but he just smiled and gently shook his head, refusing to let me take over. His touch was so careful, so attentive, as he made sure each strand of my hair was perfectly dried and smooth. It was such a simple gesture, but it made me feel so cared for.

Once my hair was dry, Rocky walked over to one of the drawers in the dressing table, one I had never paid much attention to before. He opened it, and to my surprise, it was filled with bangles of all colors and designs. I had no idea this drawer even existed, let alone that it was stocked with so many beautiful bangles. Rocky carefully picked out a set of pink velvet bangles that perfectly matched my outfit. He returned to me and started to gently slip them onto my wrists, one by one. The way he was handling them, so tenderly, made me feel like he was afraid of even the slightest scratch on my skin. His gentleness touched me deeply, and I couldn't help but smile at how much care he was taking.

After the bangles were in place, Rocky turned me towards him. He then did something that completely surprised me-he got down on his knees, so that he was at eye level with me. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a tube of mascara. With a calm, steady voice, he asked me to look at him, which I was already doing without even realizing it. I couldn't take my eyes off him as he carefully applied the mascara to my lashes. He was so precise, so focused, that I couldn't help but wonder if he had done this before. He applied it so perfectly, not a smudge or mistake, that I briefly wondered if he had some secret talent as a makeup artist.

Next, Rocky reached for a tube of light shade lip gloss. But as he picked it up, I noticed a moment of hesitation. He paused, as if unsure whether he should apply it. It was almost like he was questioning whether this was too much, or if I would be comfortable with it. After a few seconds, he looked into my eyes and softly asked, "May I?"

Without thinking twice, I nodded eagerly, almost too quickly. It was like I had been waiting for him to ask, and I wanted him to continue. He smiled at my reaction and then carefully applied the lip gloss to my lips. The whole time, I couldn't stop watching him. He was so concentrated, so serious about getting it just right, that it made my heart swell with affection. Seeing him put so much effort into every little detail made me realize just how much he cared.

Rocky then got up and opened another two shelves, revealing an amazing sight. My eyes widened in surprise as I saw that they were filled with jhumkas and earrings-everything I had ever wanted. I had often dreamed about buying jhumkas like these for myself once I became independent, and now they were right in front of me. As I admired the beautiful collection, Rocky asked, "Tell me, which one would you like to wear today?"

Instead of answering, I couldn't help but tease him a little. "Your girlfriend must be very lucky," I said with a smile. Rocky looked at me, clearly puzzled, and asked, "Why?" I responded, "Because you bought so many jhumkas for her."
