Shivangi's POV

"What the hell did I just pick up?" I thought as my eyes widened in pure shock. The so-called 'dress' in my hands was nothing like what I had imagined-it was practically a swimsuit. In fact, I couldn't even figure out what it was supposed to be. My cheeks flushed with embarrassment as I realized what I had done. I glanced over at Rocky, who was staring at me with an amused yet knowing expression, and it suddenly clicked. This is why he had been making those comments earlier. Now I understood, and it only made me feel more awkward.

The outfit

I tried to gather my thoughts, desperately searching for the right words to clear up the misunderstanding, but nothing coherent came out. "Rocky, um... I swear this isn't what it looks like... I-I don't even know how to explain this," I stammered, feeling the heat rise in my face. "Ugh, this is so embarrassing" i thought to myself.

I couldn't believe I had picked up something so ridiculous without even realizing it, and now I was standing here, trying to explain myself to Rocky, who was clearly enjoying the situation far too much.

Suddenly, a girl from that friend group came back and noticed the dress in my hand. "Oh, there it is! I've been looking everywhere for this," she said, a bit relieved. "I must have accidentally left it here when I first came in." She glanced at me and asked, "Do you like it?"

Caught off guard, I quickly blurted out, "No, no, it's not that!" But she just smiled and said, "If you want, you can keep it. I don't mind at all-I can easily pick another one."

I shook my head, feeling awkward. "No, no, you should take it," I insisted, handing the dress-or whatever it was-back to her. As she took it, her eyes shifted to Rocky, clearly checking him out, but he didn't even acknowledge her. Instead, he kept his focus on me. "Do you know her?" he asked, his tone curious.

"No, not really," I replied quickly. "We just met a few minutes ago." He nodded, seeming to understand, but before I could feel any relief, the girl smirked and said, "Your boyfriend's really handsome, huh?" Then, without waiting for a response, she walked away.

Panic set in as I thought, "Why did she have to say that?" My mind scrambled for something to say, but Rocky was already looking at me with that amused expression.

He took a step closer, closing the distance between us, and without realizing it, I found myself backing up until my back pressed against the cool surface of the mirror behind me. I was now trapped between Rocky and the wall, and I could feel the tension in the air as he moved even closer, his gaze never leaving mine.

Rocky leaned in so close that I could feel his breath against my ear as he whispered, "Boyfriend, huh?" His voice had that teasing edge, the kind that made my heart skip a beat. He held my gaze with an intensity that left me speechless, and just when I thought he might give me a chance to respond, he moved even closer, sending my heart into overdrive. His eyes bore into mine, searching for something, as he asked, "What's up with you? This morning, it was all about a girlfriend, and now it's boyfriend. What's going on with you? Haan? What do you actually want?"
