When the lights went off, we took our places. The song told the story of how they started as friends, with Jennifer having a crush on him. Over time, her crush turned into love, unaware that Aditya felt the same way. They indirectly confessed their feelings at a friend's wedding, and Aditya planned a lovely proposal, leading to their marriage.

As the performance ended, Jennifer became emotional and hugged Shivangi, while Adi hugged me, thanking us for the performance. We all danced together for a while. After the fun, I grabbed two glasses of juice and approached Shivangi, who was catching her breath in a corner...

I handed her a glass, and she took it, thanking me. She drank the entire drink in one go, calming herself down.

"Happy?" I asked, and she replied, "Very happy... everything went so well. Jennifer and Adi were so happy, all thanks to you," she said.

"Are you alright? Did you hit your head somewhere?" I asked jokingly.

She chuckled, "Oh, come on, I'm not stone-hearted."

"Yeah, you're right, not stoned heart, you're actually heartless," I teased, and we both chuckled.

Just as she was about to say something, a hand wrapped around her waist, startling her. I looked up to see who it was and was shocked to see my ex-best friend Rudra.

He looked at Shivangi with a smirk and said, "Hi, I'm Rudra, Shivangi's fiancé."

"What the actual fuckk? Out of every fucking living being, she got Rudra?" I thought, looking at her, but she looked down as if feeling uneasy.

"Hi, I'm Rocky, Aditya's friend," I said.

"If you're Aditya's friend, then what the hell are you doing with my fiancée?" he said, emphasizing the word "my fiancée."

Suddenly, Jennifer called Shivangi, and she excused herself, leaving Rudra and me alone.

"Hmm, you didn't answer my question," Rudra said sharply.

"Just drop this act. What the hell are you doing with Shivangi?" I asked

He replied, "Ohhh, so you remember me, huh? Well, I guess you didn't hear me correctly. I am Shivangi's fiancé."

"What the hell do you want from her?" I asked, knowing very well about his nature.

"I want to marry her," he said firmly.

"Just shut up. I know you're not like decent boys who can live their whole life with a single person. So just tell me, what do you want from her? Why are you pursuing her?" I said.

"Well, seems you know me very well. Then I guess you can very clearly understand what I want from her," he said with a smirk.

This fucking piece of shit!! I will not let him ruin her life.

" She's not that type of girl, so just leave her," I said firmly.

"She's not like others; that's what makes her more attractive to me... besides, she is pretty and innocent,and it will be so fun to ruin her" he said, making me angry.

"I am warning you, Rudra, just stay away from her," I said.

"Why are you getting angry? Do you like her? Look, bro, once I've used her, she can be yours. But till then, don't take a chance," he said, winked at me, and left.

Disgusting!! That's the only thing I can say. He had not changed a bit. He is still the same Rudra. Back then, I couldn't do anything, but now I will not let him ruin Shivangi's life, not after knowing his actual motives.
