Rocky's POV

After coming back from the park, I was hit with the news that he managed to escape. I have to leave Shivangi, and the thought is tearing me apart. I can’t understand how this could happen. We had such strict security, every precaution was taken, and yet he still found a way out. It’s like all the planning, all the effort I put into ensuring this wouldn’t happen, is crumbling before my eyes. I can’t let this be the end—I can’t let everything I’ve done go to waste.

But leaving Shivangi alone at home is something I can’t bear to think about. There are two reasons why this scares me so much. The first is the immediate danger—I’m terrified that he might come back and try to harm her. The thought of her being in any kind of danger because of him makes my heart race with fear. I can't let anything happen to her.

The second reason is more personal, something that’s been eating away at me ever since that terrible incident. A part of me is still haunted by what happened back then. The fear that she might leave me again, that she might do something drastic... it’s a thought that I can’t seem to shake. I know she promised me she wouldn’t leave, that she wouldn’t do anything like that again, but those memories are still fresh in my mind. They keep playing on a loop, and it’s hard to trust even the most sincere promises when you’re living with that kind of fear.

I’m torn between wanting to believe in her and the paralyzing fear of losing her. It’s like I’m stuck in this endless loop of doubt and anxiety, and I don’t know how to break free from it. But I have to keep going, I have to protect her, and I have to believe in her promise, even if every part of me is screaming with fear.

As I was lost in my thoughts, replaying everything that had happened, I finally reached the warehouse. My mind was racing, but I knew I had to stay focused. The moment I stepped inside, there was a noticeable shift in the room. Everyone immediately stopped what they were doing and bowed in front of me. They could sense the tension, the anger that was just beneath the surface.

I didn’t waste any time. I marched straight up to my most trusted man, the one I’ve always relied on, and demanded to know how this could have happened. How could someone slip through our security when we had planned everything down to the last detail?

He looked at me with a grim expression, and I could tell from the way he hesitated that the news wasn’t good. When he finally spoke, his words hit me like a punch to the gut. He told me that one of our own men had betrayed us—had helped him escape. The moment I heard that, a wave of anger surged through me, hotter than anything I had felt in a long time. Betrayal. It’s the one thing I can never, ever tolerate. To be betrayed by someone I trusted—it felt like a knife in the back.

I could feel the fury building inside me, and I knew I had to act. I couldn’t let this betrayal go unpunished. With my blood boiling, I turned to the rest of the men in the room and shouted for the traitor to step forward. My voice echoed through the warehouse, sharp and unforgiving. I made it clear that if they didn’t come forward on their own, they all knew what I was capable of. And they did—they knew better than anyone that I could make their lives a living hell, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do it.

The room was thick with tension, the silence almost deafening as they all stood there, shivering in fear. They knew I wasn’t making an empty threat. They knew I was serious, and that if I found out who the traitor was without them confessing, the consequences would be severe.

After what felt like an eternity, one man finally stepped forward. His face was pale, his eyes downcast, as he walked towards me. He knew there was no escape. He knew what was coming, and yet, he had no choice but to face it. As he came closer, I could see the fear in his eyes, the regret. But it was too late for that. The damage was done, and now, he would have to answer for his actions.
