Alternative Ending - Explanation

A lot of you guys wanted one so because you did and I love and appreciate your support so much, I'll give it to you. This is NOT my original ending though.

I advocate for the open ended one. I believe that self love is the best love and as women we should stop putting everyone's needs above our own and just taking people's shit, no matter how much we love them.

We have to be like Jazz and choose ourselves, when our self-respect is not honored no matter how hard the decision may be. Or how much we want to go back.

In your real lives, I would ask that you take Jazz's route. And I am so inspired by the women that helped shaped my story by being Jazz in real life.

The alternative ending is not me contradicting my author's note about following your heart as a writer because I did that with my original ending and no matter how many were upset, you still supported it and showed me so much love.

And as a writer you should have the freedom to do so. Even my homey who said she would stop reading kept on and even commented and for that I love you girly lol.❤️

But as authors what we must also remember is that there are live humans that vote, that read, comment and DM. And while we shouldn't let them dictate our creative freedom, you must ALWAYS show them you appreciate them. I don't care if you got one reader.

They do not have to do it. None of you owe me anything and sometimes I sit back and look at my books and I'm like damn, why do they do it?

I cried reading the comments in my epilogue. I know I don't respond to everyone, but all of your comments and Dms mean the absolute world to me.

I am so, so, so grateful. And I know people might be like "G it's wattpad you acting like you winning an award." Lol 😂😂😂😂

In all honestly, it feels that way. I got on here to simply read Aug stories, then I began writing my own and it has been a phenomenal experience.

So as I began to read the outpouring of love you guys showed me on my epilogue and realizing how you guys stood with me and defended me when I was attacked, I asked myself how could I repay you guys.

I'm not doing a sequel nor can I send flowers to each one of your doorsteps so this is the least I can do for the hopeless romantics lol.

I'm writing this not because I don't believe in my original ending, because I do. I stand by it. I want to be that girl in real life that can walk away no matter how bad it hurts and I have been.

But I'm writing it because I'm not like those authors who treat their readers like shit, thinking they owe them something.

When I say I love you, I mean it. ZamTheArtist was just like, I don't know how you can put up a chapter and people literally comment a second after.

I don't either, but I appreciate it.

So There will be two or three alternative ending bonus chapters as my thank you.

One Will be up tonight.
