Hesitant I climb out of the car, carefully avoiding touching Sylus in any way. I am looking up. The "safehouse" is a huge villa, dark and intimidating... like the castle of a vampire... runs through my mind. I must tilt my head back to see the whole building. "No way I am getting in there...!" My voice is barely a whisper, but it seems that I have no choice.
Behind my back I can hear Sylus chuckle, and I know that his smirk is widening as he notices the slight surprise in my voice. "No need to be afraid, kitten. I won't bite..." He pauses for a moment, a sly smirk on his face. "Well, not unless you want me to, of course." He says nonchalant before putting his hand on my back, gently nudging me towards the front door. The entrance to hell.
I push my feet into the ground to resist him, but he forces me unyielding towards the entrance. "No...!" Sylus smirks as I resist his push, clearly unwilling to set a foot in his safehouse. He takes a moment to look at my expression - stubbornness, anger and determination all mixed, refusing to give up even though the odds are against me. "Come on, kitten. Be a good girl and behave..." He murmurs, his hand still pushing me towards the door.
"Or do I have to carry you inside instead?" Sylus threatens, a hint of mocking in his voice. Watching my reaction intently as he is curious to see what I will do now.
When I still refuse to move, Sylus takes it as a sign that I am not going to cooperate, causing him to sigh in mock annoyance. "Fine, you brought this on yourself, kitten." He says before grabbing me around the waist, lifting me up and tossing me over his shoulder again, smiling as he carries me towards the front door. I can feel the heat of his palm seeping into the skin of my butt as he holds me firmly, a satisfied look on his face.
He opens the door and steps inside, the main entrance hall still lit in dim lighting as we walk through it. He can feel my body wriggling against him, trying to get out of his grip as we walk down the dark hallway, but it only makes him laugh again. "There's no use fighting, little kitten." He murmurs in amusement while he keeps walking towards his office. The villa is even bigger from the inside, there are multiple doors on each side of the hallway leading to who knows where. A large labyrinth of hallways, stairs, doors and rooms.
We reach his office, and he steps inside before dumping me onto the leather couch, a smirk on his face as I land on it with a thump. "Stay." He commands, as if he speaks to a disobedient pet and not a highly trained hunter.
Turning away from me Sylus walks over to his desk, leaning against it with his arms crossed over his chest while he looks at me sitting on the couch. I look pissed, my eyes filled with anger and determination, making him chuckle again. "Oh... don't look at me like that, kitten." he says with a smirk. "I haven't even done anything yet and you're already giving me that look."
Sylus turns his eyes from me and opens the top drawer of his desk, taking out a glass and a bottle of whisky. He pours himself a drink while I wait on the couch, my eyes glued to him, constantly checking his movements. Sylus smiles lightly - not missing the way I study his every movement as if I am expecting him to attack me at any moment.
Taking a sip of his drink while he stares at me with an amused expression Sylus is taking in the sight of me sitting on the couch. I am so tense that I am almost on the edge of the cushion, ready to jump up at the slightest provocation. "Calm down, kitten." He says, noticing my tension and slight twitching in my fingers from how tightly I am clutching the fabric of my pants. "I'm not going to attack you. I assure you."
He puts the glass down on the desk after taking another sip, then push himself away from the desk and approach the couch. He casually sits down beside me, close enough that our legs are touching, and he turns his head to look at me. "See? I'm not going to hurt you." He says with a smirk, his voice taking on a taunting tone. "Are you still scared of me, little hunter?"
As Sylus moves slowly closer, my body grows more and more rigid besides him. The heat of his skin is seeping through the fabric of our clothes causing my palms to sweat and my heart to accelerate. However, I try hard to keep a straight face and maintain my composure. I am sure that he can practically feel my entire body shaking. The determination and anger still burning in my eyes, I am refusing to give in to fear or vulnerability. I finally break my silence. "What do you want? Why did you kidnap me?" My tone coming down to business.
He hums, pretending to think for a moment, his eyes scanning my body shamelessly. "What do I want...?" He repeats, his voice taking on a sarcastic tone. "Well, I could give you a whole list of things I want, kitten." He smirks again, seeing the slight twitch in my hand as he calls me by that name again.
He leans back against the couch and turns his body to face mine, his expression turning more serious now. "For now, I just want to keep you in one place for a while, away from all the people trying to hunt me down." He replies, his hand gesturing at me with a smirk. "And I want to make sure you don't try to fight back." He adds, his eyes flickering over my appearance, taking in the sight of my tensed shoulders and clenched hands.
He reaches his hand out towards me and gently brushes his fingers over my cheek, noticing how the contact makes me flinch and my eyes snap up to his. "That won't be a problem, will it, kitten?"
My voice is filled with sarcasm as I say. "You kidnap me... to be save from people that are hunting you...? What are you... a stalker, a psycho, a lunacy?" I slap his hand away with a force that surprises Sylus. "Don't you dare drag me down this rabbit hole with you...!"
He chuckles at my display of annoyance, clearly amused by my feisty attitude. "A psycho? A lunatic?" He repeats, his eyebrow raised slightly. "None of those would do me justice, kitten." He smiles and leans closer to me, his face now inches away from my own, his voice now a low murmur in my ear. "I'm much more... dangerous than that, little hunter."
"You can call me a monster..." He continues, his hand gently tucking a strand of hair behind my ear, his fingers brushing against my skin, the touch soft as a whisper.
"A beast..." He murmurs, his breath fanning over my face, so close that I can almost feel his lips brush against mine.
"A demon..." He says, his voice taking on a low, seductive tone as his eyes rake over my face.
Slowly moving his hand down to my neck, Sylus is gently tracing my skin with his fingers, feeling my pulse fluttering rapidly under his touch, like the wings of a small bird. "But you will be safe with me, kitten." He murmurs, his hand coming up to tilt my chin up so that I am looking directly at him. I notice his eyes moving to my lips, starring.
"Don't you even dare to think about this..." I am raging with anger and fear, disgusted by his attitude. He suppresses a smirk, amused by my fierce protest. Does he sense that I am not really at all that disgusted by the idea? Fuck! Sylus other hand moves to grab my waist, pulling me closer to him. His lips gently brushing against mine. "Oh, I dare, kitty." He murmurs against my mouth before claiming my lips in a hungry kiss.
