We relive one of the most precious memories as soon as I touch your thigh. I recall the intense feelings I had for you even as you were just a girl. It was so hard to hold back my desire for you. Just allowed to be your best friend all those years. Because of you, I never stopped singing regardless of what other might think of my voice.

But we are suddenly interrupted as I hear a key turning in the lock of your door. What the fuck? Who...? Your eyes grow huge in shock and realization of who owns a key to your apartment. "Shit. It's Xavier. You need to hide right now. Go in there." You grab my arm, shoving me in a nearby closet, the kitten is still sleeping in my arm.

Everything happens so fast, that I can't react, so I just keep quiet in the closet as I watch you through a gap of the door. Now, that's feels like stalking. I wait impatiently what's going to happen next. Hopefully, you kick that ex of yours right out of that damn door.

"Ah... It's you... I heard some noises downstairs, and I wanted to check if everything is alright. Since when are you back in town?" It's Xavier voice waving through the room. I grith my teeth as I recall your last encounter with him, feeling uneasy about this whole situation. But I would be uncovered, if I would dare to make a move to throw him out by myself.

"Xavier! You scared the shit out of me! I just came back tonight." I can't see your face, but you sound annoyed. Hopefully, this guy gets the clue and disappears as soon as possible. There is no trace of panic in your voice, no hint that you just shoved me into the closet seconds ago.

"Yeah, I am sorry. I thought the noise could be a burglar and that's why I did not knock on the door and used the key you gave me for emergencies. But I am happy, that it's you." Then, I hear the rustling of fabric. I change my position to see more of the living room. The bastard is hugging you. Damn. My jaw clenches in frustration unable to do anything, doomed to watch the whole scene.

This Xavier starts really getting on my nerves. I know that losing you is mind wrecking and the worst thing possible to happen, but... you... are... mine. I hate every second of being trapped in this fucked closet.

"Xavier, it's getting late." You start to say, struggling to get out of his embrace. "But I am so glad to see you. We need to talk." His voice grows intense. As you try to evade him, he corners you against the wall behind you. "I regret going and leaving you with that strange guy in the café. Since I saw you in that dress, I can't stop thinking about you. I want you back." His face is only inches apart from yours now and I can see your eyes growing wide, the sweat on your forehead building up.

I can't believe in what kind of fucked up situation we stumbled in a matter of seconds. Now, I can't stop a possessive growl deep inside my chest, my body tense and ready to murder, if he dares to kiss those lips of yours. I am going to kill him. Slowly. I would have no problem killing this guy, but I believe that you would be mad at me about it.

Xaviers gaze shifts from your face directly to my hiding spot. His eyebrow raises in question. Shit! "Is someone with you?" Fuck! The doors of the closet are not fully closed, there is a small gap between the doors. I hide in the shadows, my body tense with expectation.

The little kitten feels my uneasiness and wakes up with a lout meow. She jumps down from my arm and plods out of the closet, walking on her soft paws towards you and Xavier. "Oh... You have a kitten now?" Xavier lets go of you as the kitten approaches him. He pats her head gently, rubbing the soft fur. "Hey there, buddy! Oh, it looks like you are hurt." Xavier looks up at your face waiting for an explanation. Seems he got away with his life at the last second.

"Yeah, kind of. We... I mean, I found her in the park, and she seemed hurt, so I took her with me to treat her wound." You are clearly uncomfortable with this whole situation. Your gaze briefly moves to my hiding spot where I linger in the shadows watching your every move.

Then, you take a deep breath. "Xavier. I need to clear things up. We won't be back together. Like never ever. I like you as a friend and as a colleague, but it's not love... it never was, to be honest. I am sorry."

Ouch! I can imagine how that feeling sucks and I start to feel a bit of pity for Xavier. But then his expression turns from hurt to angry and my pity fades, quickly exchanged by rage. I am ready to interfere at any moment if I need to.

"Is it because of that strange guy in the café... Do you fuck with him?" I see your eyes grow huge by his insolence, your face turning fierce. Run, Baby, run. "That's none of your business, Xavier! I know you are hurt, but now I want you to go. Now!" But Xavier hesitates.

Then, he quickly reaches out to grab your neck, his mouth approaching your lips in a desperate attempt to change your mind. I am ready to rip him into pieces, but before I can explode and before he reaches your lips, you already slam Xavier to the ground with a swift move. Ouch. That one hurt.

"Leave. Now. And never dare to touch me again. I! Said! No!" That's my girl. Your breath is heavy, you are clearly angry. It seems there is not much missing for you to murder him for that attempt.

"Okay, I am sorry. It's just... really hard to accept losing you." He looks stunned and regretful. His expression is hurt. But he finally stands up and leaves the apartment without another word. You sigh exhausted, you expression still angry. That was ugly.

"Are you ok?" I ask carefully, as I reveal myself and step out of my hiding spot, slowly approaching you. Your face relaxes instantly as your eyes meet mine. "Yes. No... Feels like I lost a friend right now." You look tired, sad and annoyed. But I am proud that you showed Xavier your boundaries so clearly.

"Sorry, for shoving you into that closet like a broom." You kiss me on the cheek while you apologize. "And thanks for not killing him in an instant." You grin at me sheepishly.

"To be honest, for a moment I thought, that I would have to be your accomplice for disposing a corpse tonight. Not that I would mind, though." My grin is cocky, and I pull you closer, sealing your lips with mine in a possessive kiss, reminding you, who you belong to.

"You are mine." I growl between kisses. I pull you even closer, grabbing your butt and lifting you up, as I deepen the kiss, claiming you as mine. As you part your lips and my tongue slides into your mouth, a satisfied rumble escapes my throat.

I press your back against the wall behind you, seeking more contact and sweet friction between our bodies, as I deepen our kiss even further. You wrap your arms around my shoulders, your fingernails digging into my skin, leaving a sweet pain on their way.

"Meow, meow..." Not now. Please, little kitten. "Meow, meow..." Fuck. "Mmm... Sylus... We should... Take care... Of the little kitten..." You moan between kisses, as our body grind against each other through the fabric.

"You are right. I forgot about that little thing after what happened with Xavier." I slowly let you glide down until your feet reach the floor again, reluctantly letting you go. Your face is flushed, your eyes are filled with passion and your lips slightly swollen from our kiss. I could look at you forever looking like that.

While you collect everything, what we need to treat the wound of the little kitten, I sit with her on the couch. I hold that furball as gentle as possible without letting it go as you disinfect its wound. After that, she curls up on the couch to sleep.

"Let's see, I will go quickly to the 24/7 supermarket down the street to buy some food for cats. And some snacks for us, my fridge is empty right now. You should stay and keep an eye on her. I will be right back." Then you kiss me softly on my lips and close the front door behind you.

As I sit on your couch, snuggling with the little kitten, I can't stop smiling despite the interruption by Xavier. I can't believe how lucky I am. Being with you feels like a fucking dream come true, after I watched you several days through Mephistos eyes more than two weeks ago. Lucky bastard.
