It's late in the morning until we are ready to depart to Linkon City. We say goodbye to the twins and Mephisto. Meanwhile I really enjoy riding with Sylus on his motorbike. So, I rush to Lily in anticipation, stroking the leather seat affectionately, waiting impatient for Sylus to approach, but he takes his time, walking casual like a model in his black leather outfit.
He looks so damn good that it's unfair. So instead of urging him to hurry, because I want to start our date officially, I lean against Lily taking in the sight, biting my bottom lip. I can't wait to sit behind him, feeling his body and the engine.
Sylus smirk widens as he gets closer, when he sees my gaze roam all over his body, reading my mind again. "Like what you see, my love?" My cheeks get warm, but I keep my eye contact with him. His face looks so soft since I admitted I have fallen for him. His eyes show pure affection and that feeling takes my breath away. So, I just nod like a fool.
We get on the motorbike, and I do not hesitate to wrap my arms around Sylus as tight as I am able to. He chuckles at my behavior, his voice amused, gently patting my thigh. "I might be somehow immortal, but I need to breath nonetheless, Kitten."
The N109 Zone is dark and misty even at day, and most of the times you can't see the sun in this area. This changes immediately after we crossed the boarder of the N109 Zone. The sun is radiating upon us as we reach Linkon City.
We stop at a traffic light, and I want to use this chance to cuddle with Sylus. My hands massage his shoulders, then wandering slowly to his chest. But I notice that something is wrong. While I really enjoy the sun on my body, I notice, that Sylus feels uncomfortable. "What's wrong Sylus?"
"I don't like the sun. I can't bear it. It's too bright for my eyes. Too hot." As Sylus continues to drive, I think about this fact and something I read on the internet comes to my mind. Albinos have white hair and red eyes and are very sensitive to light. Somehow, in a weird way, this makes sense when it comes to Sylus.
„I have an idea! Can you stop by the mall over there?" I point at a nearby mall and Sylus just nods. Sylus parks Lily in a short distance to the building beneath the shadows. We climb down from the motorcycle and as Sylus takes of his helmet, I notice that his forehead is covered in sweat. I gently wipe it with my fingers away, looking into his narrowed eyes. His face looks pale, his breath is shallow. "You look horrible. Are you going to pass out?"
A tired smirk lies on his lips. "Ouch, Kitten. It needs more than a little sunshine to knock me out." Alright, he's playing tough again. "Yeah, you look just like that." I shake my head in annoyance. "Let's go into the building, you will be safe from the sun, and we can buy sunglasses for you."
I support Sylus as I lead him into the building, searching for the accessory department. "There we go." I pick some ridiculously dark sunglasses and put them on his nose, and I giggle as I take in the sight. "My bad little vampire!"
"Will you tease me now all day about my sensitivity to sunlight and calling me a 'little vampire' whenever we have to go out in broad daylight...?" Sylus chuckles, it seems he already feels a lot better now being out of the sun. Thank God. I am about to reach for his cheek to pinch it in tease.
Suddenly, I hear my name called behind my back by an extremely familiar voice and I freeze in shock. No way. Not now. It's Xavier, my colleague and ex-boyfriend. Worst timing ever. Here I am, on a date with the most wanted man of the N109 Zone, who is weakened by the sun right now. And there comes my hunter colleague and ex-boyfriend Xavier, who would gladly arrest Sylus if he had the chance. "Shit, we are in trouble." I mutter a curse.
