Young Sylus's Perspective
Feels like an eternity that I have been trapped in an endless dream, isolated and only surrounded by darkness. Out of nowhere I sense a faint, familiar sound, like a gentle whisper of a memory stirring something deep within my soul.
"I watch over your sleep, my love,
wondering what you're dreaming of.
I hope my voice can reach your soul
and that my words within enfold.
Do I reach your heart,
to let it know, we will not part?"
As I struggle to focus, the sound grows gradually louder, taking shape and form. Kitty! It's your soft voice, singing to me, your words wrapping around me like a warm embrace.

My faith in us, it never wavers.
Even in the darkest night
our love is like a guiding light."
With each note, I feel myself being pulled back towards consciousness, drawn by the sound of your voice and the feelings you stir within my heart. I recall our deep bond and love. I am not alone! You are here with me, and you will never leave me.
"Surrounded by a world so cruel.
These bastards used us as their tools.
With you by my side I feel safe.
You give me the strength to be brave.
I am ready to fight
whatever monsters lurk in the night."
The sound of your voice guides me like a searchlight through the darkness, slowly drawing me back to the surface of the deep sea of my unconsciousness as I fight my way back to you. I can hear your voice more clearly now, the words of your song washing over me and filling my heart with hope and love.

I want to call out to you, to reach for you, but my muscles don't respond, my body is still weakened from my injury. Even my eyelids struggle to open due to the weight of exhaustion. Meanwhile, my senses become more aware of other sensations, like your sweet scent filling the atmosphere and the warmth of your body soaking into mine as I feel you sitting close next to me. Your reassuring presence causes a warm wave of relief rushing through my entire body.
"Oooh... my love, my one and only,
wake up, my love, and hold me tight.
Come here and just kiss me slowly,
together we make it through the darkest nights."
Finally, after what feels like an eternity, my eyes manage to crack open, my vision slowly sharpening to reveal your face. I am awestruck by the emotions reflected in your expression, the desperation, fear and love towards me clearly visible. Your eyes are intently focused on the strings of the guitar in your hands, and you are fully unaware of my admiring gaze. Your trembling voice is laced with tears that also shimmer in your eyes, threatening to spill over at any moment. As you keep singing, my heart tears apart at the sound of your voice, which clearly transfers the sorrow within your heart.
