Kitty's Perspective

The memory fades slowly and we are finally back in my familiar office inside the hunter base in Linkon City. The sun shines through the windows in bright streams, letting the dust in the air sparkle like glitter. I notice that the awful smell of the wanderer disappeared with the memory, but my stomach still clenches in nausea from the aftermath of that reek and sight.

It feels like we were gone for an eternity, at least weeks or even months. But one gaze at my clock reveals that we dazed out just for several minutes. It's totally strange and confusing how different the time seems to pass every time we dive back into our past.

I was just a mere test subject to be turned into a weapon. And they used my love for Sylus to accomplish their goals. It seems that the fear of losing Sylus triggered something inside of my heart, causing me to develop unbelievable powers. What the fuck was that? And how could I even be more terrifying than Sylus? Where are my powers now, by the way? Did they disappear? What happened to us after I smashed that ugly wanderer like an overripe orange? Ugh... as I recall the mixed sensations caused by the violent use my powers, my spit turns sour, and bile rises in my throat instantly. I must swallow hard to fight the nausea. That image will haunt my nightmares in the future.

I need a moment to collect my thoughts. I am still dazed by the intensity of my emotions that still linger within my heart. The back and forth of our relationship, the heartbreak by his rejection, the pure bliss as he confessed his true feelings for me and the unbearable fear of losing him in the end.

While I gradually regain my awareness, my gaze never leaves the eyes of Sylus that are glued to mine. Sylus sits in front of me, still touching my forehead gently with his fingertips and studying my expression. I noticed that a faint layer of sweat covers his temples. It seems I am not the only one struggling with a mix of feelings. His eyes reflect all kinds of emotions: guilt, regret, gratitude but all of them are outshined by unlimited love. Slowly he puts his forehead against mine and sighs in relief.

The fear of losing him still aches my heart. My soul is longing for him. We are like two magnets that attract each other with an invisible but irresistible force. I am grabbing his neck to pull him even closer, finally sealing his lips with mine. All my emotions and longings from the past and present are mixed in the passionate kiss we share. I must feel him, I must taste him, I must be sure that he is real and alive right now.

His hands grip my waist firmly, pulling me even closer. His arms are wrapped so tightly around my body as if he would never let go of me ever again. I can feel his rapid heartbeat raging inside his chest and his body is slightly trembling as he holds me close. It seems Sylus is as afraid of losing me as I am scared of losing him.

His protective embrace engulfs me in his soothing warmth, and I am melting into his presence. Immediately, I feel how my body relaxes, the nauseating tension in my tummy is soon replaced by a warm tingling deep inside of me.

Sylus smells exactly as I recall it from the vivid memory, and I inhale deeply to savor his intoxicating scent. I open my mouth slightly to let in his teasing tongue, his unique taste overwhelming my senses. A shiver of pleasure runs down my spine as his tongue slides over mine, and he purrs in agreement into our kiss, squeezing my hips slightly, grinding against me with an aching pleasure. Sylus drives me wild, and I run my fingers through his hair as a soft moan escapes my lips. After a while his breath comes in short gasps, his chest rising and falling with each huff. Sylus pulls slightly away to ensure we both can catch our breaths, while the taste of his lips still lingers on mine.

As he leans back slightly, his eyes never leave mine. They are like red velvet, intense and full of desire. Sylus moves his hand to my cheek, his fingers caressing my skin affectionately while he tries to steady his breathing. A small hint of a smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth, and he whispers in a voice that is both rough and hoarse. "You saved me, Kitty. In more ways than one."
