Theresia's POV

We had arrived at Basco Airport in Batanes. Everything went smoothly, and as we were boarding the plane, napansin ko na she was only wearing slippers. She looked so cute while walking, making little sounds with each step. I'm captivated by her, and I find myself falling for her even more. She doesn’t care about what she wears or what others think, as long as she feels comfortable. That’s one of the reasons I love this woman.

For a moment, I was drawn to her and couldn’t help but stare at her with affection, which caused me to be left behind. Lumingon naman agad siya at tinawag ako.

"Love, what's wrong?" she asked, reaching out for my hand so we could hold hands.

"Nothing, love, your slippers are so cute," I replied.

"Cute? Or you're just making fun of me?" she asked, her brows furrowed, studying my expression.

"Seriously, you always look beautiful kahit ano pa suot mo." I gave her a quick kiss on her cheek.

Her cheeks flushed, and she smiled, a smile that was as sweet as always, melting my entire being.

As we settled into our seats on the plane, I took the aisle seat while Alice nestled by the window. The cabin filled with the chatter of other passengers, but I could only focus on her.

To avoid boredom, I pulled out my book from my bag, hoping to get lost in its pages. But every time I glanced up, I caught Alice watching me, her brows furrowed, clearly not liking the fact that my attention was on the book and not on her.

Why are you looking at me like that?” I asked, smirking a little.

Wala lang. I am just thinking that you're ignoring me just because of a book,” she said, her eyes narrowing like she was plotting something.

Love, I am not ignoring you. May binabasa lang ako.” I chuckled and tried to focus on my book again.

Yes, you are ignoring me.” She huffed dramatically and crossed her arms. “Mas mahalaga na pala ngayon ang libro kaysa sa'kin? Fine, go ahead, don't mind me."

I raised an eyebrow, sensing her mischief. “Luh, ang OA naman ng baby ko na yan. Saglit lang kasi, wag ka muna magulo. This is important, okay?”

Really, more important than me?” she leaned closer, giving me a mischievous smile.

For now, yes,” I laughed at her, shaking my head.

She gasped dramatically, her eyes widening as if she couldn't believe what I said. “Wow. More important than me? Hindi nga! You didn’t just say that!” She put her hand over her heart, pretending to be offended.

I couldn’t help but laugh. “Babe, you're so dramatic! Just let me finish this.”

Hindi pwede!” she shot back, moving even closer and resting her chin on my shoulder. “You can finish that later. I’m bored, and I need your attention now

I glanced at her from the corner of my eye. “Alam mo, you’re a distraction.”

She pouted, then smiled playfully. “Siyempre! I’m your favorite distraction, right?”

“Definitely you are, but can I just finish—”

“Nope!” she interrupted, quickly reaching over and gently closing the book, then grabbing it from my hands. “This can wait.”

I raised an eyebrow. “Wait, anong ginagawa mo? I’m reading that!”

She tucked the book beside her, smirking. “Not anymore. Focus on me muna.”
