Theresia's POV:
I have another meeting with Mayor Alice today, but this time she's the one who set the time. I'm hoping that she won't be late this time. I feel a little happy and relieved today, knowing that there is no conflict between us. It's a different feeling to do your job without holding a grudge. I believe it will affect both of us if we continue fighting.

As I arrived at the mayor's office, the first thing I saw was the mayor happily interacting with some of her staff. I noticed how she is simple yet so elegant.

Mayor Alice greeted me warmly, "Good morning, attorney," while smiling with her eyes. My heart skipped a beat at her warm greeting.
I decided to give her a beso. I feel like she wasn't expecting it.

"Mukhang nagdidilim ang paningin ko ngayon," eliciting a chuckle from Ate Gie. So I greeted her back and gave her a beso also.

"Hihimatayin yata ako mayor," she says, and the mayor just laughed.

"Tara na, attorney, sa office ko," she said as she opened the door for me. ( sweet gesture🤭)

"Have a seat, attorney. I will just get the documents you need," she said with a gentle smile.

Mayor's POV:
Today, as I awaited the attorney's arrival, my heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and nervousness. The thought of our upcoming discussion filled me with a sense of happiness.

When I saw her walking towards me, her presence illuminated the space, and I couldn't help but admire her grace and poise.

Good morning, attorney," I greeted her with a smile that carried the weight of unspoken emotions, hoping she could sense the depth of my feelings in those simple words.

Her response, filled with a touch of humor, lightened the atmosphere, and I found myself drawn to her infectious laughter. As she leaned in for a beso, my heart skipped a beat, feeling a surge of warmth and affection towards her.

Ate Gie, being jealous because of the beso, acted as if she had a right to one. I hid my laughter as Ate Gie overreacted to the attorney's beso.

"Tara na, attorney, sa office ko," I invited her, my voice laced with a hint of eagerness. Opening the door for her, I couldn't help but admire the way she carried herself with such grace and charm.

"Have a seat, attorney. I will just get the documents you need," I said.

Theresia's POV:
I sat on the sofa and removed my blazer. I gazed at the mayor, who seemed to be struggling to find the documents I needed. So, I decided to help her and walked towards the table where the documents were. "Maybe I just misplaced them, but I'm sure they're here," she said.

I reached for a bunch of papers and helped her so we could find them faster.

Mayor's POV:
"Where should I put those documents? I know they're here," I thought to myself.

I sensed the attorney standing and walking towards me as I caught a whiff of her scent. "Let me help you, Mayor," she said.

I noticed her white sleeveless top, and I couldn't help but think, "Hot naman niya.

I also saw a butterfly tattoo on her shoulder, which momentarily distracted me. I didn't realize the attorney was speaking to me since I was lost in admiration.

"Mayor, what color is the folder you put the documents in?" she asked.

"Ah, it's inside a pink folder, po," I responded with a hint of shyness, hoping she wouldn't notice that I was looking at her.

Theresia's POV:
There were several folders with different colors, so I asked the mayor about the color of the folder. However, it seemed like the mayor was deep in thought. "Cute naman, matulala nito," I thought to myself.

Hindi naman obvious na favorite color niya ay pink. In her office, there were a lot of pink stuff..

While we were both busy finding that document, my hair was distracting me, so I decided to tie it.

Mayor's POV:
As she moved to her bag to get something, I couldn't resist looking at her. While she was tying her hair, I found myself unable to look away, my gaze lingering on her neck. "Bango siguro ng neck nito, sarap i-kiss," I thought, unable to help but chuckle at the unexpected notion.

Having already found the documents, I said, "Attorney, here are the documents," as I handed them to her.

We engaged in a brief conversation about my case and the fast-approaching hearing. She discussed and provided some reminders. After our exchange, we said our goodbyes to each other.

I was left alone in my office, unable to suppress a smile as thoughts of her filled my mind. Suddenly, Ate Gie opened the door.

"Nakangiti ka mag-isa, Mayor. Hindi na normal 'yan," she teased, with a mischievous tone.

"Just get me a coffee," I replied, changing the topic.
