Third Person POV:
As everyone got off, Theresia was the last to step out, still busy unloading her luggage. Alice, noticing her struggling, quickly stepped in to help. The two exchanged playful conversation as they carried the bags, with Alice trying to steal another kiss. Theresia playfully slapped her hand away and pinched her cheek.
“Stop playing around and just help me with the luggage,” Theresia said, handing one of her bags to Alice.
“pakiss muna,” Alice teased, leaning in closer.
“Someone might see us,” Theresia whispered back.
“Fine, mamaya nalang.” Alice pouted, grabbing the luggage.
“Thank you, Doc Alice,” Theresia said as she walked ahead, leaving Alice to follow.
“I’m just helping you; wait for me!” Alice called, quickening her pace to catch up.
“Bilisan mo, I’m tired and just want to rest,” Theresia said, stopping to glance back at Alice.
“Anong laman ng maleta mo? It’s so heavy!” Alice complained, struggling to keep up.
“Just my clothes and other stuff,” Theresia replied.
“You packed like you’re staying for a month. Travel light next time, babe,” Alice remarked.
“Noted, babe,” Theresia replied in a seductive tone, causing Alice to blush.
They made a quick stop at the lobby to check for available rooms. Theresia took charge, talking to the hotel staff while Alice stood by her side, making them look like a couple checking in.
“Room for one po” Theresia asked.
“We have a special promo for couples. Would you like to avail it?” the staff offered warmly.
“Just one room, I’m alone,” Theresia replied.
“Oh, I’m sorry! I thought you were a couple,” the staff said, laughing.
“Do we look good together, ate?” Alice asked, grinning.
“Absolutely!” the staff responded with a smile.
“Don’t mind her,” Theresia said, nudging Alice lightly to make her behave.
“Your room is number 6, ma'am,” the staff said, handing over the key.
“Thank you,” Theresia replied politely.
“Let’s go! It’s room number 6,” Theresia said, leading the way.
“Wow, our rooms are... right next to each other. Perfect!” Alice exclaimed happily.
“Even better,” Theresia replied, giving Alice a flirty look that left the doctor momentarily speechless.
Alice walked Theresia to her room, which was conveniently next to her own.
“We’re here. Okay kana dito? I can come inside if you need any help—” Alice started to say, but Theresia cut her off.
“I’m fine, I can manage. Thanks,” Theresia said, giving Alice a quick kiss on the cheek.
“Isa pa ,” Alice said, pointing to her other cheek with a grin.
“You’re so demanding, as always,” Theresia stated, planting another quick kiss on Alice’s cheek with a soft smooch before entering her room and leaving Alice standing outside, her heart fluttering.
