Theresia's POV:
I woke up first, When I look around, Alice was still deeply asleep next to me, her arms wrapped tightly around me. I tried to move quietly to get out of bed, but as I gently removed her hand from me, she woke up.“Wait, where are you going...?” she mumbled, her eyes barely open.
“In my room, shouldn’t we feel worried about what your colleagues might think if they see us sharing a room?” I asked.
“I don’t care,” she said, pulling me back into bed and cuddling her face into my neck. I could feel her warm breath on my skin.
“We have work today. Bumangon kana, doktora.”
“Please, just five more minutes. Hug me, love,” she pleaded, her voice soft and sweet. I couldn’t say no.
"Okay”
She snuggled closer, her legs tangled over mine, and nuzzled my neck, kissing my cheek.
“Sabi mo hug lang p…” I complain, but I couldn’t finish as she kissed me.
“ kiss na may konting hug,” she said, her lips still on mine. I gently placed my hand on her neck, pulling her closer and returning her kiss. Then afterwards my hand brushed against her legs under the blanket.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
“Alice, gising kana?”
We quickly separated and scrambled to fix ourselves.
“Just stay here. I’ll open the door,” she said.
It was her colleague Samantha. They talked briefly at the door, and then Alice came back. Thankfully, Samantha didn’t come in.
“Wala na po, you can come out now,” Alice said.
“ Love, I have to go na and get ready,” I said.
she simply nodded.
“ wait for me ha, sabay tayo bumaba,” she stated, leaning to open the door for me.
Back in my room, I took a quick shower since we had a medical outreach today. Afterward, I checked my phone and saw bunch of messages and missed calls from my parents. I called them to update them, hoping they weren’t too worried. Then, I left my room and knocked on Alice’s door so we could head to breakfast together.
I had to call her a few times before she finally opened the door.
“What took you so long! anong ginagawa mo?” I asked, a bit annoyed as I stepped inside her room.
“Sorry, I was in the bathroom,” she explained, her hair still wet. “Pumasok ka muna.”
I walked in and sat down on the couch while she started brushing her hair in front of the mirror.
"Basa pa buhok mo," I pointed out, standing up and grabbing the hair dryer from the table. I started drying her hair.
“Thank you,” she said softly, wrapping her arms around my waist and resting her head against my stomach.
As I dried her hair, I noticed some faint marks on her neck that looked likes bruises. She saw the expression on my face and laughed.
"Those are from you, you know. You really went for it last night," she teased with a smirk.
“Are you sure ako may gawa niyan?” I asked, a bit puzzled as I examined the love bites on her neck.
"Well, Ikaw lang naman kaanohan ko kagabi" she said, grinning.
