Sal couldn't help but smile, as he looked at (Y/n). In the soft light of the restaurant, and from the glow of the flicking flame that came from the candle that stood erect from the top of the chianti bottle, she looked even more like an angel than she normally did. A part of him couldn't help but think that perhaps this, him meeting (Y/n), had all been fate. That god had sent her just for him, and if so, he was not about to let her go. His smile getting all the broader, as she finished off the last of her puttanesca, in record time.

"I like a woman with a healthy appetite........." Sal chuckled. His heart picking up its pace, as a blush came to (Y/n)'s cheeks.

"I'm sorry. I don't normally eat this quickly; but has just been so long since I tasted anything this good. I love the Sisters, but the food.......well, it is basic at best; meant to nourish the soul more than the body, I think. So, to be able to eat something like this..........."

"Hey, I didn't mean anything by it. You can come and eat here, any time that you like, and have as much as you like. See it as my way of thanking you......."

"Thanking me.......? What could you have to thank me for? I haven't done anything............" (Y/n) tried to protest. Sure, that the only thing that she had done over the past two month, was enjoy spending time with the big man.

"You have done more for me than you know, bell'angelo, and making sure that you have more to eat than just what the nuns give you, is the least I can do." Sal continued, as he placed his hand on her cheek. Another chuckle leaving him, as he was sure that her blush had just got brighter. The need, the want to kiss her again, taking over him. The desire to know the softness of her lips, to taste her mouth, making him move in, closing the gap between them............

"Dessert...........?" A voice asked, as a menu suddenly appeared between the pair. Sal turning his gaze from the beauty that was sat at the table with him, to Oswald, who was smiling innocently. The don having this sudden desire to strangle the limping man; but given that his lost angel seemed to quite like the restaurant manager, he thought better of it........for now.

                                                       >>-------------------------------------<<

Oswald watched, as Maroni and his guest ate and laughed. In his opinion, the lady with the crime boss, was way out of his league. She was younger than Sal by a number of years, and to his mind; and several others around the restaurant that seemed to be catching a glimpse of the lady, whenever they got a chance, she was quite, quite beautiful. Oswald finding himself smiling, as she finished off the plate of puttanesca that had been put in front of her. The once simple umbrella boy, wishing he could hear better the conversation that was going on between the two. Especially when the exceptionally pleasing (Y/n) began to blush at something Maroni had just said. Oswald grabbing for one of the menu's and quickly making his way over to the pair; pushing it between the two and smiling as (Y/n) looked up at him. Doing his best to appear as innocent as possible as he felt Maroni's eyes burn into his skull.

"Dessert...........?" He asked. His smile becoming wider as (Y/n) nodded.

"Oh, I would love to try the tiramisu, if I could. Especially as you told me that it was good, Sal......." She replied, before turning to look at the don. Taking his hand to bring his attention back to her. Sal forgetting his anger, as he looked deep into her eyes.

"I promise you, you will not be disappointed......." He told her, then brought her hand up to his lips, and kissed it.

"Make that tiramisu for two, peng........Oswald........." Sal continued, before placing his lips to her knuckles, once again. Oswald simply nodding before he turned to go, yet a sudden noise from the front door of the restaurant, caught his attention; Sal looking over too, as he saw the look on the restaurant managers face. The don spying two familiar men, making their way towards where they were sat.

"Oswald. Why don't you take (Y/n) and show her the kitchen. Let her say hi to the boys..........." (Y/n) giving Sal and odd look, as he coerced her to get up.

"Is everything alright.............?" She asked, as she took the hand that Oswald was offering.

"Never better. Just a little business I need to take care of. Nothing for you to worry about, bell'angelo........" Sal told her. Giving her a smile, before (Y/n) let Oswald take her to the kitchen. Sal straightening out his jacket, before the visitors finally got to the table.

"Ah, detectives Gordon and Bullock. How may I be of assistance.......?"
