"You're not worthless." Tim Drake- the number one enemy.....said to Damian Wayne.
It took a second, but that's the kinda shit that makes your head turn. Damian whipped his head around to see if he heard that right.
"What...?" Damians scowl lessened.
Drake shrugged his shoulders. "Like that watch we found last week."
Damian recalled their nightly patrol, it was infuriating to be partnered with him, but they did find a watch.
"Are you calling me a watch? Tt- you make no sense-"
"Valuable. Turns out it was 1400. Y'know why nobody bothered? 'Cause it surronded by filth. Like you. The people you talk to, some of them are filth. If you get what I mean ; but you're not."
Damians mouth was agape. That was not an insult-
"People-" he managed to choke out a bit...stunned.
"Those lousy Titans. The ones who treated you like shit. Even I don't treat you that bad, no matter how foul your attitude can be. I'm just saying..." Tim spoke, now bringing his mug to his lips.
Damian couldn't imagine anything but decaf in there. "And... you're saying this- why?"
Tim had his back turned, and didn't seem to give an anseer.
Damian thought, 'Was he prideful'-
He swivelled his chair around. "He read your notes. Interesting codes you've got- I wouldn't say it to him, but....privacy is a consept when he's around."
By 'he' is was obvious who. And by 'notes' it was obvious what.
Damian stood to his feet, infuriated. He knew it'd be wrong ro direct it to the only person, who said something- so he demanded.
"When was this! And- and how much did he decisper!" Damian shouted.
"Last night." Tim said, be he paused. "He couldn't understand it. You added a bunch of smearing to the pages, some latin....complicated stuff to be honest. Kudos."
"Then- then how-"
"I'm not an idiot, I can read just fine. Also, I'm not old, so there's that."
