Havyns pov
—————

Everything was a blur. Taylor took me outside as Travis fought with Julia, trying to convince her to make special circumstances for us. I was hyperventilating, I haven't had a panic attack like this for a while.

"Havyn, I need you to focus on me," Taylor held my head towards hers, resting our foreheads against each other, "sweet girl, I'm here, you've got this."

I gripped onto her, trying to follow her breathing as she counted me in.

"Tay." I gasped for air.

"I know baby, you're okay." She looked exhausted and worried as well.

I slowly regained my breathing, realising we were sitting on the ground in the street. I looked up at Taylor, who was stroking my hair and crying softly as well. The court has broken us all, we can't lose them.

I snuggled up to Taylor, tears were still falling down my cheeks unable to stop. She kissed the top of my head, holding me close.

"I love you, Tay," I whispered, "thank you for all of this."

"It's not over yet." She whispered back.

Taylor and I stayed like that for a while, regaining our confidence and sanity. Travis finally made his way back out to us, I couldn't tell what mood he was in. His face was blank as he jogged over to us.

"Are you okay?" He crouched down to us, putting his hand on Taylor's forehead as he looked at me.

"We're okay," Taylor gave him a small smile before standing up, "what happened in there?"

I stood beside Taylor closely as I tried to steal some warmth. We both looked up at Travis, hoping it had gone in our favour.

"They said they'll set up a meeting," he smiled, "I came to get you two."

This was our second chance, Taylor grabbed my hand and led us into the court room once again. We were quickly taken into a smaller room, which the three of us sat down with four other people including Julia. They were all dressed up smartly like lawyers and other important people. My knee bounced with anticipation again, waiting for these people to tell us how our future would be. An incomplete family or a family of five?

The four lawyers went over our case quickly, reading the points we had said in the court room. They had a quick discussion in whispers before turning to us.

Julia spoke up, "looking at the notes and case points, it's a very clear decision."

I looked at Taylor, who was staring at Julia intently. I could see her brain swirling around thoughts of paranoia and fear. Travis looked similar to that as well, he had slight tears in his eyes daring to come out on either outcome. I turned my gaze back to Julia, waiting for her to tell us. Tell us the news that would change our life forever.

"If you both could just sign these two documents, then that means Theo and Maisie Kelce-Swift can be legally adopted by you." Julia smiled. I'd never seen Taylor and Travis sign something so fast in my life. We sat in silence taking everything in. Before Taylor hugged me from behind, I was sitting in shock unable to move. My siblings were safe, we had won. We fought and won.

I stood up and joined Travis and Taylor in a group hug, Travis' tears had fallen from his eyes as Taylor's mirrored the same actions.

"We did it." Travis smiled at us. I just held onto him tightly as Taylor did a small dance of happiness.

"Let's go get our kids." Taylor beamed with excitement as she took my hand, swinging it as we walked out of the room.

—————

The car pulled up outside of our house, the house that we'll all grow up in. Our home forever. I stared out the window, glad to be in this family.

"You're quiet, what's on your mind?" Taylor poked me.

I turned to her and smiled, "we're officially a family."

She smiled back as we got out of the car, racing to the front door to see my siblings. They greeted us as soon as we walked in. Theo and Maisie both crashed into my arms as I crouched down to them. Making me fall backwards in the process, hearing their giggles erupt from them was everything we all needed to hear and more. I looked up as Travis was picking Maisie up off me and Taylor followed suit with Theo. I managed to finally get up, greeting Andrea at the same time.

Theo hugged onto my leg as Taylor gave her mom a welcoming hug.

"Hey bud, I missed you." I smiled at him, pulling him closer.

"Did we win?" He asked slowly, scared for the answer. Taylor and Travis both looked at me as I went for the reply.

"We did, you and Maisie are officially Kelce-Swifts." I could see the excitement in their eyes, just from the last name change.

"So we're staying?" Maisie was looking up at Travis.

"Forever." He kissed her forehead gently.

I couldn't imagine being anywhere else but here. This is where we were supposed to be, all of us as a family of five in New York with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. This was it. This was everything.

————

Later on that evening, the younger two had gone to bed and Travis wanted us to watch a movie. I cuddled right in between them happily, remembering that a year ago I wouldn't have been seen dead cuddling them. I used to hate it here, hate any sort of help. Now all I want is them as my parents.

Taylor stroked my hair softly as I lent against her side, "thank you for fighting for them." I whispered to both of them. Hoping they knew how grateful I was.

"We'd do it over and over if we had to." Travis smiled, squeezing my foot that was rest on him.

"It's true, we're all meant to be here. I wouldn't have let them been taken." Taylor laughed, "you should get to bed, Haves."

I nodded as Taylor followed me up to check on the little two. As I got into bed she poked her head in, before coming to sit beside me.

"None of this would've happened if it hadn't been you. You saved them and me." She smiled.

"But you saved us?" I was confused on how it was me.

"You fought so hard today, Havyn. You used to fight so hard like that on a daily just over a year ago. You got them out of there to somewhere safe." Taylor kissed my head.

I smiled softly as she got up to leave, I grabbed her hand. She looked back at me confused.

"Can you stay for a bit?" I asked her, "please, mom."

She smiled, heading back to her spot beside me even before she heard the word 'mom'.

"I love you so much Havyn."

This is where we were meant to be.
