A/N: I'm not American so I don't know how American football works so I'm treating it the way Europe does football (soccer) for travis' game. Sorry xxx

"Mommy!!" Little Maisie came running towards me with her arms stretched open.

"Hey Maisie Moo!" I crouched down, allowing her to crash into my arms, "you were awesome out there, baby."

She was beaming ear to ear after just finishing her first football game. Her cheeks were rosy red and her two braids were falling out slightly, I had done them in a rush this morning to make it on time for her game.

Travis came jogging down the pitch, cheering Maisie's name as he reached us.

"Little Moo! You did it!" He picked her up and swung her about happily. Her giggles filled the air as she rested her head onto Travis.

"Can we go home? Is Havie there?" Maisie looked over to me.

I rubbed her back, "she is, let's go home."

Havyn hadn't been feeling great all week, she was trying to rest up and get better for today. The weather wasn't amazing and I didn't want her in the cold. It did cause an argument and I'm sure we're not on speaking terms right now as she wasn't happy with the final decision.

I carried Maisie to the car as Travis said goodbye to the coaches.

"Thank you for letting me join the team." Maisie looked up at me with her big brown eyes.

I placed her into the backseat, "of course, Moo, you can do whatever you'd like to."

She smiled, "I love you, mom."

Those words always make me smile, they'll never not have the warm effect on me every time one of them says it.

I kissed her head, "I love you too."

Theo crashed into Travis' arms as we arrived back to our home, singing a chant for Maisie. I beamed as I kissed his cheek, helping Maisie get her shoes off.

"Dada," Maisie wandered over to Travis as he crouched down to her, "bath time."

I smiled at how comfortable she was getting around us, asking for things she wants and needs.

"Of course, princess! Would you like bubbles?" Travis scooped her up, walking upstairs.

Theo had returned to his toys in the living room, I sat beside him on the floor. Enjoying watching his imagination make up scenarios and games with his action figures.

"Is Havie really sick?" He broke the silence, sitting closer to me.

"It's just a bug, she'll be okay soon." I smiled at him, kissing his forehead. He seemed reassured as he went back to his toys again.

"I'm going to check on her, okay bud?" I stood up as he nodded, deep in thought with his imagination.

I wandered to Havyns room, knowing she wasn't happy with me about making her miss Maisie's game. As I got closer, I started to worry if she'd ever forgive me. I've never gone full mom mode on her until today, but I was genuinely worried for her.

I knocked on the door, "Haves?"

No answer.

"Havyn?" I opened the door to see her lying curled up on one side of the bed. She wasn't facing my direction, she was shaking. I knew she was awake, trying to prove to me she wasn't as sick as she looked.
