The words hung heavy in the air as Jin’s uncle, now trembling, struggled to get up. Jungkook’s threat left no room for doubt—he would never tolerate anyone hurting Jin.

Jin’s uncle, now terrified, stumbled to his feet, clutching the money Jungkook had thrown at him. He glanced at Jin, who was standing silently beside Jungkook, his expression a mixture of shock and disbelief. The older man’s eyes darted back to Jungkook, recognizing the dangerous glint in the alpha’s eyes. Without saying another word, he hurried out of the house, the door slamming shut behind him.

As the room fell silent, Jin’s mother and Jisoo, who had witnessed everything, rushed to Jin’s side. Jisoo looked at Jungkook with a mix of awe and gratitude, while Mrs. Min, still shaken, gently touched Jin’s cheek, as if reassuring herself that he was safe.

Jungkook, noticing the tension in Jin’s body, wrapped a protective arm around him. “You’re safe now,” he murmured, his voice softening as he looked down at Jin. “I won’t let anyone hurt you again.”

Jin, overwhelmed by the events, nodded slowly, his eyes welling up with tears. He couldn’t find the words to express what he was feeling, but the warmth of Jungkook’s embrace provided a comfort he hadn’t felt in a long time.

Mrs. Min, still holding Jin’s hand, looked at Jungkook with a grateful smile. “Thank you,” she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. “Thank you for protecting my son.”

Jungkook simply nodded, his gaze never leaving Jin’s. “I’ll always protect him,” he promised, his voice firm.

With that, he gently guided Jin towards the door. “Let’s go,” he said softly, leading him out of the house. Jin’s mother and Jisoo watched them leave, their hearts heavy with a mixture of relief and lingering fear.

As they stepped outside, the cool evening air greeted them. Jin looked up at Jungkook, his heart pounding. “Why did you do that?” he asked, his voice trembling.

Jungkook paused, turning to face Jin fully. “Because I love you, Jin,” he replied, his voice steady and full of conviction. “And I’ll do whatever it takes to keep you safe.”

Jin’s breath hitched at the sincerity in Jungkook’s words. He had never felt so vulnerable and protected at the same time. Without thinking, he leaned into Jungkook’s chest, closing his eyes as he let the alpha’s warmth envelop him.

“I love you too,” he whispered, barely audible, but it was enough for Jungkook to hear. The words seemed to solidify something between them, an unspoken bond that no one could break.

As Namjoon and his mother, Mrs. Kim, were returning to the KIM MANSION in the car, Mrs. Kim was reading an article on her iPad. Without taking her eyes off the screen, she said, "Your dad and your younger brother, Taehyung, have done an excellent job with the new project in Japan," she said, her tone calm but brimming with the weight of their family's reputation. "Our name is being talked about everywhere."

Namjoon nodded, a small smile playing on his lips as he listened to his mother. He was proud of his family, and it was moments like these that reminded him of the legacy they were all a part of. As the car turned a corner, the towering gates of the KIM MANSION came into view, their intricate designs gleaming under the soft afternoon sun.

Mrs. Kim continued, her tone becoming more thoughtful, "I know you’ve been handling things on your own here, Namjoon. It’s not easy balancing everything, but you’ve done well. Your father will be pleased to hear about the progress."

Namjoon glanced out the window, his thoughts briefly drifting to his responsibilities. "Thank you, mom. I just hope to continue upholding our family's name." His voice was steady, but there was a flicker of determination in his eyes.
