Jungkook takes a deep breath, his mind spinning with Jimin's words. "Jimin, what if I can't forget that Omega from my heart and mind?" he asks cautiously, his voice filled with uncertainty.
Hearing this, Jimin's anger flares, and he swings open the door, glaring at Jungkook with fiery eyes. "How could you even think of leaving me for that... that harlot?" Jimin snaps, his voice shaking with both anger and hurt.
"Have you forgotten what your father told you? Have you forgotten why I married you? It wasn't out of obligation, Jungkook. I loved you-always have. Do you know it was me who convinced your brother to back out of the wedding, so you'd marry me instead?"
Jungkook's eyes widen in shock, his heart racing. "Jimin... you did all that?"
"Yes," Jimin says firmly. "I didn't marry you just to one day divorce you, Jungkook. I didn't sign up to be a temporary placeholder while you fool around with someone else. I knew about your affair with your employee, but I let it slide. Then, I used those divorce papers just to bring you back to me."
Jungkook is stunned, trying to comprehend the weight of Jimin's revelations.
"And look," Jimin continues with a cold smile. "Here you are, standing before me. Now that you're here, you can't back out. You can't escape this, Jungkook, no matter how hard you try."
Jungkook is speechless, realizing that Jimin had been two steps ahead all along. His mind swirls with confusion, guilt, and the undeniable grip of a love that, despite everything, still binds him to Jimin.
Jungkook stands frozen, unable to form a response as Jimin's words sink in. The weight of the situation presses down on him, suffocating. He never imagined that Jimin knew about his affair all along, nor that Jimin had been so determined to keep him by his side, regardless of the cost.
"Jimin, I..." Jungkook stammers, his voice barely a whisper. He looks into Jimin's eyes, searching for any trace of the love they once shared. But all he sees now is bitterness and a possessiveness that he hadn't fully recognized before.
"You don't get it, do you?" Jimin steps closer, his eyes never leaving Jungkook's. "You are mine, Jungkook. You always have been, and you always will be. I gave you everything-my love, my trust-and yet you threw it away for someone else. But I'm not letting you go that easily."
Jungkook's heart aches, torn between guilt for what he's done and the deep, complex feelings he still holds for Jin. He swallows hard, trying to find the right words. "Jimin, I never wanted to hurt you. But what happened with Jin... it wasn't planned. It just..."
"Stop," Jimin interrupts, his voice sharp. "I don't care what excuses you have. You're coming back home with me, and we're going to fix this. There's no more running, no more hiding."
Jungkook looks away, unable to face the intensity in Jimin's gaze any longer. He knows that whatever he says now won't change anything. The decision has already been made for him.
"Let's go," Jimin says firmly, grabbing Jungkook's arm. "We're done here."
Jungkook hesitates, his heart heavy with the realization that he's trapped. His mind flashes to Jin-how he felt around him, the connection they shared-but he knows that going back to Jin is no longer an option. Not with the grip Jimin has on him now.
Silently, Jungkook allows Jimin to lead him away, his steps heavy as they head back toward the car. Each step feels like a surrender, a resignation to the fate Jimin has crafted for him.
After some time, Jungkook and Jimin arrive at the Kim Mansion together. Seeing them walk in side by side, Mr. Kim breathes a sigh of relief, and Grandma's face lights up with happiness. The entire family feels a sense of peace, assuming that everything between the two has been resolved.
