After dropping Jin off near his house, Jungkook drives back to the Kim Mansion. As soon as he steps out of the car and enters the house, he notices the entire family gathered in the living room. The atmosphere feels tense, and Jungkook doesn't understand why everyone is there. Suddenly, Mr. Kim approaches him and slaps him hard across the face.

Jungkook staggered slightly, his face stinging from the blow, but the pain was nothing compared to the bewilderment that overwhelmed him.

"Dad..." he started, trying to comprehend what had just happened, but his father's eyes were blazing with fury.

"I trusted you," Mr. Kim's voice was low, trembling with anger. "I trusted you to take care of Jimin. I married him to you, thinking you'd cherish him. And you-" His voice cracked, as if he couldn't find the words to express his disappointment. "This is what you do?"

Jungkook opened his mouth to defend himself, but the words didn't come. His mind raced, searching for an explanation, but nothing felt right.

"I feel ashamed to call you my son," Mr. Kim continued, his voice laced with disgust.

Jungkook's heart dropped. "Dad, I-"

"Shut up!" Mr. Kim interrupted, his voice sharp and biting. "Didn't you feel any guilt while betraying your husband? If you didn't love him, why didn't you say something? You should've refused the marriage like your brother did!"

Jungkook felt a lump rise in his throat, his breath shaky as the full weight of his father's words pressed down on him.

"What's the worst that could have happened?" Mr. Kim asked bitterly. "I would have broken my promise to my dead friend? But at least I wouldn't have had to see this day, to witness this shame."

Jungkook stood there, numb, as his father's words sliced through him like knives. He wanted to explain, to defend himself, but the weight of his own guilt kept him silent.

Jungkook's eyes darted around the room, searching desperately for Jimin, but he was nowhere to be seen. His heart sank.

"Jimin..." Jungkook whispered under his breath. Then he turned to his father. "Dad... I'll talk to you about this later. First, I need to speak to Jimin."

Mr. Kim's face twisted in bitter disappointment. "Speak to Jimin? What will you say to him now? He left last night, Jungkook. He's gone."

Jungkook's breath hitched in disbelief. "What...?"

His father threw a set of papers in his direction. "Here," Mr. Kim said harshly. "These are the divorce papers. He's already signed them and handed them to me."

Jungkook's world began to crumble as the reality of his situation hit him. Divorce papers. Jimin had signed them.

Suddenly, Hoseok, Jimin's elder brother, spoke up, his voice laced with anger. "Jungkook, you've wronged my brother in a way that can never be forgiven. I'll never forgive you for what you did to him."

Jungkook stood frozen, his mind racing but his body numb. He didn't know what to say, what to do. He was paralyzed by the weight of his actions.

From across the room, Grandma's voice broke the silence, her tone filled with sadness. "I must've failed in raising you, Kookie. That's the only reason I can think of for why, in my old age, I have to witness this."

Mrs. Kim approached Jungkook slowly, her expression softer than the rest of the family's. "Kookie," she said gently, "you need to think carefully about what you're going to do next. The decision is in your hands now."

Mr. Kim, still seething with anger, barked at him, "Decision? What decision? You'll go and bring back the son-in-law of this family. There will be no divorce. You will fix this mess. Stand at his door until Jimin forgives you. Beg for his forgiveness, Jungkook. Until he takes you back, you will not rest."
